Me & my brother came by to pick up a Brisket Plate with Soft Drinks & it was all good for our tastes of our experiences including the Family Reunion Baked Beans which is really good, may not find it in other soul food locations but this must be Somerville, AL thing for the Family Reunion Baked Beans with meat in it for the location & someday we may come again.

Super sweet and friendly. They were patient with me over the phone and very informative when I asked questions. We ordered wings for game day. The wings are cooked to perfection and a good size with lots of meat on them. We will definitely be ordering again soon.

Food was great, staff was super friendly and you could tell they care about their customers. Prices were good and the portions are massive. Will definitely be back!

When I was growing up, this was called home cooking:D. To cook food with this much flavor and to cook it to this level of perfection requires the secret ingredient. It takes love. Thank you, Ma'am, for sharing your love with your customers.Just finished eating a wonderful meal of Smothered Chicken, Greens, Pinto Beans, Cornbread, Mashed Potatoes and Macaroni and Cheese. Topped off by some of the most wonderful Fried Apples I have ever tasted. Ms. Nettie is an AWESOME cook and a dear, dear Lady. God fearing and filled with love. I got to close my eyes and travel back to my childhood today. So much like Mother's home cooking. Thank you, Ms. Nettie, for sharing your table with us. Saving the cornbread for dessert ;)

Vegetarian options: Turnip greens was horrible!!! They were so salty that they were totally unedible! Folks I am 73 and have been eating turnip greens all my life and i know what too salty is! Your skin color don't have anything to do with it! So don't stand there in your black skin and try tell me it is because I am white! Your toung has nothing to do with what skin color you have! You are a human! Salty is Salty! You cant cook! That is why your parking lot is empty!

This restaurant has the best food and service in all Morgan County. Please stop by if you ever in the area of Somerville! You won’t be disappointed!
