We had about 15 people at our table. The food came out pretty quickly. The waitresses were attentive and personable. I had the catfish bites, turnip greens, and those fried corn nuggets. I forced the 2nd bite of catfish, but that's all I could manage. The greens were... different but not good. The corn nuggets came frozen but were as expected. They were the best part. The sweet tea was pretty good. At my table, there were mixed reviews of the 5 I talked to. 3 of us said below average, 1 like and 1 ok. Wishing you the best.

Wouldn’t know cause I came in on a dead Saturday night and the manager refused to change the tv station I run a restaurant you have the ability to change your tv I saw the conversation the waitress had with the manager and saw the manager say no I’m not doing that

Absolutely amazing! Looked for a seafood place close to highland lake so we could take my dad out for a nice dinner. Am I sure glad we picked this place. It had some of if not the best fried fried shrimp I’ve ever eaten in my almost 50 years of life. Service was A+. Food was A+. Atmosphere was A+.

Had catfish nuggets and fries. Was very good and hot. Plenty of iced tea.
Decided to finally go see what all the fuss was about. Went at the perfect time around 6:30, only about 15 people there. Everyone was very polite and hospitable. Service was excellent, young lady stayed attentive to what we needed and made sure our drinks was full. Had the catfish and shrimp dinner with onion rings and corn bites as sides. Everything was great and ample servings of everything (would of liked more of the corn bites though) will be dropping by again on the way through town. By the time we were finished with the meal it had started to get crowded, we timed it just right.

Lots of parking. Very clean inside and out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This was our first visit. When ordering Fried Catfish: a Filet is a large piece of fish, Nuggets will be that Filet cut up in small pieces, Strips will be a Filet cut into three pieces. So if you order two Filets you will get 6 Strips. Just wanted to clarify that. The Fried Catfish is a generous amount of flaky fish, lightly battered, fried to perfection and barely to not seasoned. I enjoy good Catfish but this was not the best I have tasted, definitely needed salt. The mashed potatoes and baked beans were good but didn’t seem to be fresh made. I did absolutely love the cheese curds, there is nothing better than fried cheese. Do order this for an appetizer, you will not be disappointed. The Chocolate pie is served in a plastic carry out container, and it was very good but it was not Chocolate Silk Pie, it was old fashion Chocolate Pie with Meringue. No one else really raved about anything they had so I won’t comment on the other dishes. We probably will not visit this restaurant again.
