I always get over the top cakes for my kids and they always come through everytime.
Also, their strawberry cupcakes are literally addicting😭😍

I was so excited when they opened their location in Dora several years ago. I lived in Moody but drove to Jasper every Friday to get my step-children for the weekend. I would often leave work early just to make it before Frostings closed, because I loved this bakery so much. Fast forward, we moved closer. When I turned 40, I knew that I wanted Frostings to bake my cake. I was not able to get what I wanted, however, I practically begged for just a white cake, and I would decorate it myself. I ordered another cake for my daughter’s birthday. Turned out immaculate, but the customer service threw me off. Not rude, but not great either.
We adopted a baby this past year, and his first birthday is a big deal for me. I wanted his first cake to be a Frostings cake. I emailed them a few weeks back, no response. I called yesterday to see if I could make my December booking…. RUDE! So rude! I understand that they could not deliver exactly the “idea” that I sent over, but instead of offering what they could accomplish, the lady simply cut me VERY short! I am appalled, and quite frankly disappointed that my forever favorite bakery would treat people with such manor!!!! I have well supported this bakery since almost day one in business, and I literally sad over this!

Frostings Bakery in Sumiton made us a delicious German chocolate two-tier groom’s 🍰 for our grandson’s wedding. It was beautifully done and delicious. It also held up well when picked up 6 hours before the wedding, transported in its box and then refrigerated until dinner. I highly recommend them for custom cakes.

They made a Hobbit house themes smash cake for my daughters first birthday and an additional layered cake for the party, and all expectations were blown out of the water!! I will never go anywhere else for my cake needs. Highly recommend for any occasion, the cakes were gorgeous and delicious!!

I would highly recommend Frosting Bakery. What a life saver 💕. The emergency cake they made for my daughter’s gender reveal was BEAUTIFUL 😻. My group ate every bit of that big cake. It was delicious. The chicken Salad was another big hit!!! What a great asset to our small town in Sumiton, AL. I really appreciate EVERYTHING !!!

We used Frostings Bakery for our wedding cake on 9/23/23. It was beautiful. I had people saying that was one of the best icing on a cake they have ever had (may be why Frostings is their name;) ). I can not wait to eat that top tier next year and am thankful it is at my inlaws or I would already have been in the freezer by now. They are very reasonable with their prices and are a joy to work with.
