Awesome as always. Very authentic.
Food was mediocre at best. Drink tasted like cheap kool-aid and bottom shelf rum. Shrimp and katfish plate was overcooked and seasoned with season all salt. Hushpuppies were smaller than the shrimp. Fried pickles were decent.Had the misfortune to be there on karaoke night and the sound system was turned up way too loud for the tiny building it is.
Food is always fresh and hot. I called in and they had it ready for me when I got there.
Karaoke night was awesome and the food is to die for, service was also 5 *'s will definitely be back!

The cook is most definitely from Louisiana. From appetizer to slaw to entrée this place is a little bit of Louisiana right here in Alabama. Prices are reasonable for the food. Wait staff is friendly atmosphere is laid back. Will most definitely be back.

Wonderful service and great food.
Waited over 15 minutes to order a drink. No one ever came to my table. Karaoke was going on. They seemed to only be interested in the over 90water drinkers. I WILL NOT be back!! Good luck. U could have a good thing!
We ate here tonight, sandwiched had burnt bacon that was so hard it was like it had been dehydrated. I asked before I ordered the size of the fillets. I was told that the fish was two good size fillets. She said I can order it grilled so I did. It came out and it was like the size of one small fillet and not cooked all the way. The coleslaw was the size of one tablespoon, the grilled vegetables was a portion for a child. I felt like I was eating off a kids menu. The best thing we had was the fried pickles. We let the waitress know she told them and they never did anything about it. So we won’t be eating there again. Definitely not worth 45.00 and a tip! There are way better places to eat for that amount.
This place has an excellent staff, despite being shorthanded in these times, they are courteous and kind! Overall, great food and a great experience everytime! Thank you all once again! And my dogs LOVED the leftovers ?
