I'm kinda old school and we came across the Dan's Diner in Summerdale today and really liked the decor and wall pictures/photos from the past, also a veterans wall for those who have served. It's kinda like a old school soda shop going back to the 50's--60's, music was playing to classic oldies and ordered food which was good and filling. We'll plan to return with my daughters soon as they like oldies music just like there old man! Keep up the good work. Thanks. Jw.

Have driven by multiple times and always wanted to go in. Well after one of the events we decided to go in. My husband, son and I stepped in. We were told to take a seat and someone would be with us. 5 minutes go by and no one came up. 10 minutes not even a be right there. After 15 minutes and our son finally getting restless since he is hungry we stoop up and left. Might have to do with my being Hispanic or not. Husband is Caucasian and a veteran but still they did not take our orders. Huge disappointment though. We were very excited to try it out but I guess we were just not the right type of customers they like. Every time I drive by it now it’s just a sad experience as I remember how we were treated.

This place is a gem! Small place with a great old school atmosphere and delicious food. We have yet to have a bad experience here. Owner is very accommodating and just a nice guy who always comes out to make sure that your food is good. You can tell that he cares which is rare these days.

Food was perfectly cooked. A hot burger with all the veggies ice cold. Crisp fries and the place is super clean !!! Would definitely recommend!!!
