I'm kinda old school and we came across the Dan's Diner in Summerdale today and really liked the decor and wall pictures/photos from the past, also a veterans wall for those who have served. It's kinda like a old school soda shop going back to the 50's--60's, music was playing to classic oldies and ordered food which was good and filling. We'll plan to return with my daughters soon as they like oldies music just like there old man!

This place is a gem! Small place with a great old school atmosphere and delicious food. We have yet to have a bad experience here. Owner is very accommodating and just a nice guy who always comes out to make sure that your food is good. You can tell that he cares which is rare these days.

Wanted to try to do something new in the area for lunch and found this gem. they are created something very unique here I didn't try the milkshakes but they looked amazing I'll be back for sure many times. Worth the drive from Foley. Will be back for breakfast too.
