I have eaten here twice since I moved here and the food is AWESOME I highly recommend and the customer service was great but I also I think the place needs music playing to give it a nice lil restaurant vibe and also please please please get sodas this is the first restaurant I've ever been to that only serves Tea and water and also maybe a lil update to the place and that may bring more business thanks and me and my family will be back

Great experience today. Food was great, and service was great. We got the fish sandwiches, fried pork chops, hamburger steak, and gumbo. I tried everyone’s food and it was all great! Drove from from Birmingham to meet my brother who goes to Auburn for lunch. Might have to make that drive again just for Bookers❤️

She was SO FRIENDLY AND CARING! She made suggestions for dessert and you can tell that she takes PRIDE in the meals that she serves. The Ooey Gooey cake and the Banana Pudding that she made was AMAZING and the chicken dressing, field peas, and cornbread was filling. The mac and cheese was ok, but I'm biased about the mac and cheese that I prefer lol. My friend had a burger and he said that he dreamed about that big ole burger she served him! Lol, we had come back yesterday but they were closed, although google showed that they were supposed to be open. That's ok though, because we will just keep checking for when they are open and whenever we catch them open, we will be strolling through that door to have a seat! Lol. The waiter was very friendly and he kept a good check on us to make sure that we were good. Overall, it's a 10/10 absolutely recommend! The plates didn't didnt even stand a chance for a picture..lol

We had fried catfish filets, grilled pork chop, field peas, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese - all outstanding! And the strawberry cake was excellent too!! Great service and great atmosphere. HIGHLY recommend!!
