We had fried catfish filets, grilled pork chop, field peas, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese - all outstanding! And the strawberry cake was excellent too!! Great service and great atmosphere. HIGHLY recommend!!

I've been to Bookers a few times and each time the staff were ALWAYS extra friendly and helpful. it's a very down home family friendly vibe. and I love the food. I love to get the bread pudding because you don't have that on many menus nowadays

They were out of many items on the menu and I had settled for something else. The something else was chicken tenders and they had no flavor and was very dry. The only good part of the meal was the Mac and cheese (would recommend). The service was not what I thought it was going to be. Some servers were nice, but the one we got seemed like she did not want to be there. Also has the name BBQ in the name but had no BBQ on the menu. Slightly disappointed.

Such wonderful folks, with hometown compassion and care. Treating customers like family is so refreshing in cookie cutter restaurants who have forgotten what customer service is. And the food; seasoned and served hot. We will return and bring family and friends. Joe makes the best bread pudding!
