This little bijou will not disappoint. The cuisine is not mere food, but actual cuisine. Set in a late-Victorian gingerbread, this restaurant is homey, yet elegant. My husband and I dined here while on a trip with our daughters. The staff treated our daughters like princesses, and they, in turn, kept their royal elbows off the table. Recommendation: the 8 ounce filet.
Food is fabulous. Be prepared to spend a little time here bc food is prepared fresh upon ordering. It is well worth it!
This was a special occasion and I couldn't have been more pleased. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was the best I have ever had! Presentation was beautiful as well delicious.
One of the best steaks I’ve ever had
Such a cute restaurant. I love the building (built in 1904), and the pork tenderloins were A+ material. So so good. The chef/owner personally came to check on us and she is very sweet. Thank you!!
My siblings and I met here yesterday for lunch and really enjoyed the restaurant. The Buttermilk chicken was awesome as were the sides of mashed potatoes and asparagus. Others enjoyed the crab cakes, pork medallions and salads. The dessert (bread pudding with ice cream) was also great. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the owner/ chef came out to greet us. Nice touch. We were seated quickly, food was delivered promptly and coffee cups were kept full. The welcoming party of cats (and their food)were a little distasteful to me but it might be fun for others. Over all a great place to eat and chat with good value for the money.
Finally got to eat here for the first time. Very good food. I loved the atmosphere. And the owner/chef was so sweet and talked to us for a long time. We felt very welcomed! Can’t wait to come back for dinner.
Great food. Good service.
My husband and I have celebrated holidays, special events and several anniversaries here and each one holds a special memory for us. The food is always fabulous but the owner ALWAYS makes us feel like family while here. We always HIGHLY RECOMMEND making the trip to dine with Kara. Call today to reserve your table!!!
Good southern food in a neat old home. A really great location for Sylacauga and a fun place to visit.

Amazing night with my woman. The atmosphere and food are top shelf.
Was invited to have lunch with a group of old friends and knew the good company was worth the hour long drive. When lunch was over I realized the food was worth the drive as well. Everyone spoke highly of their choice, I know mine was excellent. The chef/owner came out to make sure everyone was pleased and she was an engaging, very nice person. She is also an excellent cook. I will be back, want to try dinner next time.
The service wasn't good at all!!! The filet was sent back twice and still had blood in it and they never even offered to cook it done !!They wanted to send the cook out to talk to us when all we wanted was the steak done after waiting an hour and half!! This was taken second time ...we paid over 75.00 and couldn't eat this much of the steak which was super small to start with!!!
We had a great time. The staff was great, food fantastic. The chef came out to greet us and to be sure our food was good. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, pictures were all unique, as was the dining rooms. It was so enjoyable much more than just eating. It was a great experience. We are going to treat ourselves every month. Thank y’all!
We absolutely loved this quaint little restaurant in an historic house. The food was incredible, and the dessert absolutely divine! The hostess allowed us to explore the house at our leisure while waiting for our food. Would definitely recommend!
