Tokyo Sushi Hibachi and Asian

I'm not sure how to rate this but Tokyo Sushi Hibachi and Asian use to be my go to for fried rice; However, I do not like eggs in my fried rice. Since Tokyo opened, I use to order fried rice with no eggs every time and then one day I called, the owner answered (who almost, always took my order), and I asked for the same thing. She stated they can't make fried rice with no eggs and I stated, "that's how I normally get them" and she said, "the rice is already premade with the eggs." I know the rice is already cooked in hibachi restaurants but shouldn't the eggs get added when recooking the rice on the hibachi grill. When she stated it was already premade, had me thinking they cook a huge batch of rice and eggs, and when someone orders, they reheat it.

Hate that they no longer offer the option to get fried rice with no eggs, because I really liked their food but I won't be going back.

Walked in to the stench of rotten seafood sat down and they didn't have anything cooked like the simplest items like sweet & sour chicken NOPE I paid $6 for 2 drinks and bounced...... now I can't get the smell of A$$ out my nose nor the sticky off my arm where the table wasn't cleaned

We try to go to Lake Martin as often as possible, and we never knew if there was good sushi in the area. Now we know. This was better than most of the best restaurants where we are from in Birmingham! We had the Sweetheart Roll, which they used white tuna on the outside of after we asked. So accommodating! We also had a Black Dragon Roll, which featured eel and snow crab. It is SO hard to find a Roll anywhere that has eel on the top! I have had sushi in many cities, and can safely say, this is one to write about! The atmosphere is the best it can be for being located in a small strip mall, but trust me when I say, the food is ABSOLUTELY worth the stop! Ask for Courtney. She is so warm and sincere, and makes excellent recommendations!

Pad Thai was amazing, hot and sour soup was really good. Everyone enjoyed the dishes we got and the service was excellent. We will be eating here again for sure!

This was our first visit here and we will come back!The clear soup was very good and made in-house. The egg drop soup was excellent. Salads were fresh and generous. The ginger salad dressing , also made in-house was a little different from other places, but very good.I got the scallop hibachi. The scallops were very good and not overcooked/rubbery as you often get. The vegetables were a little undercooked. The sauce was fantastic! The rice was good, and their house yum yum sauce was excellent.My wife got the teriyaki chicken bento plate. The California rolls were generous, and they tasted very good. The teriyaki sauce on the chicken was also excellent. The sweet potato tempura was good, and a nice variation to the rest of the plate.Service was very prompt, attentive, and friendly.
