The cornbread was old.
The country fried steak was Gristle. It was a small portion, and slimy. Too much black pepper in the gravy. Not even Cracker Barrel standard.
The potato salad was disgusting. Sweet pickles and mustard. Not as good as Dads Bbq.
Fried green tomatoes were too oily. I prefer Teds in Trussville fried green tomatoes.
Pickled beets were from a can. No imagination.
The signature OG Sauce, tasted like cheap tomato paste.
This guy uses about $3 worth of ingredients and charges $12.
This is Not Good Alabama food y'all. Bad Vittles.
I want a refund. Or at the very least, show this guy what good Alabama food is.

We have had breakfast, lunch & dinner from Buddy's and it never disappoints! Not to mention the desserts. From pies, cakes & puddings, its hard to even choose! Go see those friendly folks and stuff your face! 💯

1st time coming here. Can’t believe how much food is in the plate!! Had to take a to go box home. We will return and I say go check it out
Just ordered food here seen the reviews but tried it anyway asked for tots specifically on my haystack they gave me fries instead also got the fried pickles and they were so soggy its like they'd been soaked in water. But the lady who answered the phone was nice. Tried to call back again and they hung up on me over and over, never got anyone to answer.

We arrived around 11:30am before the larger lunch crowd. Greeted nicely and welcomed by an open Bible, verses, and a sign in book for travelers. Loved that atmosphere. Service was good. The two things I wanted the most they were out of and that's why I gave food 4 stars. The food we did receive was excellent. Pulled pork and thick bologna sandwiches, fried pickles all very good. Love they have all the sauces on the table. Seating was comfortable and not cramped. It was packed by the time we left and the servers were all smiles and never flustered. We will definitely visit here again when in the area.

The platter i ordered had brisket, pulled pork, ribs, and half a smoked chicken. It was enough to feed two maybe three people. The brisket was delicious amd fall apart in your fingers tender. And the hush puppies were amazing.
