Stopped here on our way to Birmingham. The meat is great, really soft and delicious. The banana cream as a dessert was so tasty. Really nice service, had a small good talk. The ambience really fits to a nice hickory BBQ. So if you ever stop by in Taladeega or surrounding area, that's a place to go.

The food was Delicious and average price for a BBQ restaurant, 5 of us ate for a little over $71 without tip. Server was overworked and they had to close early due to being out of meat. If your nose is sensitive to creosote, get take out. It was worth the trip to eat there because the food is excellent.

Country atmosphere and EXCITEMENT BBQ. I had a large spicy sandwich, onion rings with ranch, and a sweet tea. Everything was perfect. I don’t leave a lot of reviews, but I couldn’t leave the parking lot without leaving this one. A++
Out driving around by Logan Martin damn, we saw this place and decided to stop. We got cheeseburger plates served with fries and potato salad, I got the slaw. Delicious, quick, great little cabin atmosphere with great photos on the wall and the history of the owners on the menu. Banana pudding was perfect . We stopped on a Monday about 130pm, still busy. Can't wait to come back from your BBQ

I called this morning needing a butt for a funeral and they had it ready in less than an hour. The smoked flavor on that butt was so good . Everyone was bragging on it. Thank you all for helping a girl out at the last minute. Please try this place out , you won’t be disappointed.

The Shack is an older barbecue establishment that offers more than just barbecue. They do offer salads of different types as well as hamburgers/cheeseburgers and fries. The interior is rustic real wood. The staff are friendly and the service is great.
