Great ribs and onion rings. BBQ and mild sauce are good. Even with no sauce it’s good. I prefer a true pulled pork. Theirs is more chopped. Sweet tea is great. Traditional older Southern BBQ Joint!!!! Atmosphere is what you want and expect.

Generous portions, friendly staff, excellent atmosphere. The food is always good here, I've never had a bad meal. UPDATE: A classic, still the best place for a Pile of BBQ and sides.Parking: Plenty of free parking on a gravel lot.Wheelchair accessibility: It's a gravel parking lot with a concrete sidewalk entrance.
The food is always fresh and has a great taste. Just wish they had more sides to choose from.

No joke. Absolutely best onion rings I have had in a very long time. Maybe best ever. Perfectly cooked, crisp, but somehow the coating almost melts like shortbread in your mouth!I had a burger that was perfect. Wife had a BBQ baked potato that would have fed us both. Sure smelled good!
My husband and I stopped in today while visiting the area and the food was delicious! Loved everything from the bbq to the tea. Highly recommended.

Bbq is great but the chicken fingers are terrible. Thin, chewy, and tough, not good at all. Was not expecting food this bad from a place this good. Very disappointed in the chicken.
I love the Shack barbecue restaurant. Thay do an amazing job. Anybody that has never been there. You need to try it you won't be disappointed.
