Patronized this wonderful coffee shop twice with my husband while visiting his mother. We try to find local places on our travels. From the moment we parked, we knew this was a local gem! Day one we got the 1949 and the True Value. Day 2 we had the Nuts and Bolts and the Irish Delight(seasonal). Both days my husband has a the cheese and fruit claw. The coffee is fresh ground. Menu is small but that allows for a more unique array of flavors and adds to the experience. This place is a must go! Love the old cars, furniture, and history behind the building. Staff is amazing! Both ladies at the counter remembered us from 2 days prior. This place makes you want to stay for hours. Games and puzzles available to relax and enjoy your time.

This is a coffee shop. The coffee is very good. A generous selection of hot and cold coffee drinks. They usually have some pastries on offer too. The baristas know what they are doing and are very pleasant. The atmosphere is very eclectic and interesting. An old hot rodded Ford is inside for you to look at as you enjoy your coffee, and an old Volkswagen is outside for your perusal as well. Interesting things on the wall, and a variety of cozy furniture groupings for groups of various sizes. Well worth the trip.
Parking: Curbside parking plus a small parking lot out front for about 8 cars
Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is on the ground floor, plenty of room inside.

I just happened to be in Tallassee. This place is a remarkable hidden gem in a small Southern town. The atmosphere is comparable to any fine cafe, really ANYwhere. Prices are perfectly reasonable; service was very good; and wifi was abundant. I can't conceive of going through Tallassee again and not stopping here.

I make trips to Tallassee just to get the 1949 from here. Literally the best latte I’ve ever had. The staff is incredible. Every time I go in there are several people studying, playing board games, crocheting on the couch, or relaxing. You can tell everyone is super comfortable there, and it’s hard not to be with all the comfy couches. The interior is unique and absolutely beautiful. I hope this place is around for a long time.

It was 16 and some change for a grove dog [that was sort of like a pastry with conecuh sausage and onions etc. (reheated but tasty!) ] and a frozen apple pie. I would recommend the drink for a treat for sure!
Kid-friendliness: They only had 1 high chair but it was a nice atmosphere, I didn't stay with my 2 year old because he'd be running all over lol ?
