Big Mike's Steakhouse - Thomasville

The steak had so much salt on it, I had to cut the top and both crust off to be able to eat it. The fries were at least twice as salty as McDs ever was. The crab cakes and shrimp were also very salty.
The shrimp dip and chips were good.
The service was pretty good.

The steaks are better than Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and the environment is more laid back. Also, the waitresses are beautiful and friendly.

Decent spot for a drink bartender was amazing. Food was Par for a strip. Gonna try a few other less expensive dishes because the bartender is amazing.

This was my second time being there first time it was ok but last night it was bad I a salad it was five minutes before I any silverware after that my food when I began to eat it.they cook hair in it I had fried fish

Update 2025 - Went there for dinner with 2 friends. We had been going to a steak house just outside Camden, AL But the steaks became too tough and full of gristle. The steaks there were the best I ever had until the owner decide the dollar was more important.
Now the steaks we had here were top notch!! Very juicy and great flavor. I'm the only one of the three of us who ate the whole steak. I had the fries as a side. Not that good. I should have gotten the baked potato instead. They also served Bavarian Bread to start.
My one complaint is our tables were uneven by 1.5 inches. Luckly I wasn't drinking. The next time we go it will not be on a Friday. Many people were having a really good time drinking and a on the loud side.

OLD REVIEW - Good service. Steak was tasty but on the tough side. Service was great and friendly. Me and my wife both had steaks with baked potato.

The steak was ok but the sides was not I order asparagus and I got a out five broom straws and a ok Caesar salad ...if u want to be considered high end with the prices , let's the food be high end too $93 for two and one person order steak my wife ate fish no tea for a drink one .

My family has dined at Big Mike’s for years. We had had fabulous service at every location we’ve visited; Thomasville, Moundville, and Orange Beach! The filet with the caramelized mushrooms and onions on top is always my choice, for apps they have the best cheese wedges, and crab claws too! Of all the locations, we must say the Guntersville location is our absolute favorite due to the atmosphere on the boardwalk! Catering is top notch as well! Best Taco Bar ever, actually I’ll say best catering I’ve ever had, and I’m not even a big taco fan. Always a huge treat to go!
And knowing the owners and loving them for all their generosity. Great food is always better knowing the amazing people who started this business! Now I’m hungry and I’ve got to plan another visit to Big Mike’s SOON!

Kid-friendliness: We’ve taken our kids sometimes but also enjoy adults only dining. All the kids we’ve had dining around us have been well behaved. It’s not geared towards kids but welcomes them and I think The kids understand, or “read the room” if you will ?
