For anyone wandering if they should give this place a try, yes, you should definitely try this place. My husband and I have been looking for a good bbq place closer to home, and Big Stacks is definitely the best bbq in Hazel Green. The brisket is absolutely amazing. It's juicy, flavorful, and melt in your mouth tender. My husband says it's the best he's tried since he lived in Texas. We also tried the pulled pork sandwich, mac and cheese, greens, and baked beans; all of it was top notch. We will definitely be going back when we're craving good bbq. I plan on trying the peach cobbler next time.
I dont normally write reviews. Food was good but I feel nothing short of being ripped off. Food is over priced in my opinion considering side portions were small and the leg quarter me and my wife were givin were smaller than the palm of my hand. From what others have said maybe I should have gotten a different meat choice and maybe would have been more satisfied but $26 for 2 very small portion chicken plates is ridiculous. I'm a bbq'r myself and leg quarters not very expensive.

Out of all the BBQ places I have eaten at this one takes the gold. Great service, great atmosphere, great conversation, and divine food. Junior lays it down with some supreme culinary cuisine. We just went here for the first time tonight, and it won't be the last! The food was absolutely phenomenal and the owner was genuine & kind.We did the family pulled pork, mac and cheese, and coleslaw.. Food & sauces were top notch, even our picky eater ate it up!
