Corbeau Wine Bar

The staff here are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met! I stopped by THE EDGE after work, hoping to find some late-night food. I ended up grabbing a bite at THE QUE*BICLE (seriously, their wings and mac and cheese are amazing!). While looking for a place to sit, I wandered into Corbeau Wine Bar and met their incredible team. They noticed I had my food and invited me to sit on their patio, which was warmer and way more comfortable than where I was before. They didn’t have to do that, but they went out of their way to make sure I felt welcome. That’s when I met Kay, one of the waitresses, who took the time to tell me all about the drinks they offer and the idea behind the space. She was so warm and friendly, and it felt like she genuinely cared about creating a great experience. By the time I left, I wasn’t just full—I was reminded that there are still places where people go out of their way to show kindness and connect. This wasn’t just a meal; it was a moment I won’t forget. Amazing people, amazing vibes—I’ll definitely be back!

Had high hopes for a wine bar in Trussville but unfortunately was disappointed. The vibe of the place was pretty cool but that didn’t make up for the poor service and lack of interesting wine. The servers did not seem knowledgeable in wine and lacked attentiveness to the customers. Also took the bartender a long time to make a cocktail when it was very slow. Wish I could’ve given a more positive review!

Great place to come visit with a group of friends. Good, chic atmosphere, and a very refreshing place to be. We will definitely come back here!

Service was shaky at first, but they made it for it with conversation and suggestions. The self-serve was a little pricy but worth it, in my opinion. The chicken Alfredo was pretty good(take out the peas). We will be back for sure.

I really want to love this place. The concept is amazing. The aesthetic is gorgeous. Unfortunately the service was lacking. My friend and I visited on Saturday for the first time. We weren’t greeted when we arrived. We just decided to sit at the bar. Because of the concept guests should be asked if it is their first time. If it is then they need to be shown how things worked. That’s not what happened with us. We sat down and ordered a glass of wine the bartender said we only make cocktails right here, you will have to get your own wine. We had to ask her to explain that to us. She gets us a wine card and walks away. We had to get her attention again and ask her if she could show us what we were supposed to do. Again, great concept. I love the wine wall but if you’ve never been it does require some guidance. We also ordered a charcuterie board. Maybe it was an off night because it looked nothing like the pictures on these reviews. It was awful and we didn’t finish it. The servers act like they don’t want to be there and it seems they go out of their way to not make eye contact with you. There were a couple of ladies seated down from us that had a very similar experience. I really want this place to survive. Trussville needs it. It’s a beautiful wine bar but they won’t make it very long with the service they are providing. We did not encounter one friendly employee while we were there. Both of us have worked in the service industry for nearly 2 decades and were very disappointed. We still tipped but they definitely didn’t earn/deserve it.

I looked through the reviews and saw a disgruntled person who previously worked here giving a one star. Too bad people do not know backstories on Google reviews. ANYWAY… great atmosphere, the best flatbread pizza you will eat anywhere, and wonderful staff/owners. I’d give ten stars if I could.

Excellent spot, with a calming ambiance, to relax, socialize in a quiet, comfortable atmossphere, that offers a wine-tasting experience truly personalized. Sampled a few food items, with fresh flavor and crisp quality per each item. The wine-tasting opp was the truly innovative and personal way for ALL members of the tasting party to find our fit. A good selection of other drinks and a card with daily specials was presented by beautiful and attentive staff, who ensured our understanding and made our visit pleasant. Shhh, try not to tell a lot of folks bc it's a quiet spot without a wait, in TVille.

First-time visiting this place and the weather was perfect. We had an opportunity to enjoy the outdoor sitting which was perfect for a late dinner.

We sat at the bar area when arriving while waiting for a table, and the bartender was nice she greeted us which was a plus. The manager of this restaurant came around and introduced himself which made the experience more personable and kudos to the wife and the decor ??????.
