We order at least one birthday per year here. Usually it's 3 cakes, unless we opt for cupcakes for someone or they have some other wish for their special day. They have never disappointed. My only wish is that they'd bring back those peanut butter balls.

Food & bakery is always delicious. Wait in line is usually long & front of house lacks organization. I come in this location often. This location compared to other locations seems to have a very disorganized front. They have usually 4 people on the front. One managing the case and cake orders. One taking orders to tables, and two taking orders, dealing with costumer request, and making coffee all while managing a 15 people line. Seems to just be an inefficient system. Tables are very wobbly and tables dirty. Seems like they need two more people in the front of house to run smoothly.
Food is always delicious tho.

The website states they’re opened until 6:00
when I walked in a worker with glasses and had a pepperoni face was arguing with a customer that kitchen closes at 3pm so they cannot make any more sandwiches, food, etc. she was very condescending and rude. I had to greet the worker, as she did not greet me herself, i asked if I could some vanilla frosted cupcakes. She said the bakers were gone for the day and she just checked and they had no more cupcakes left. I have been to multiple locations and the workers have never been this rude or said they couldn’t frost plain vanilla cupcakes for me. I am confused why they stay open until 6 if the kitchen or bakery does not allegedly operate after 3. Terrible service.

Obviously don’t care about their customers—spend your money elsewhere.
I ordered lunch here today, and it was thrown together carelessly. The chicken was still pink inside. When I got home, I realized they didn’t include the desserts I paid for, so I had to drive all the way back. Instead of giving me fresh replacements or some sort of condolence, they offered the melted leftovers that had been sitting on the counter all day. Absolutely disappointing. Do better.

Don’t order an iced latte here…95% ice, 4% milk, and 1% espresso…for $6.

I’ve visited multiple times around 11am, only to find they were already sold out of carrot cupcakes. On one occasion, there were four displayed in the case, but the employee informed me that two were already on hold for other customers. It’s disappointing that an establishment as large as Edgar’s doesn’t seem to produce enough carrot cupcakes to meet customer demand. Bottom line: if you’re hoping to get carrot cupcakes, don’t count on it—they’ll either be sold out or reserved for others.
Edgars is one of my favorite bakeries, however, I just left out of the Trussville location and THE MANAGER is behind the open case blowing his nose and proceeds to ask if I would like something. I had to ask him to wash his hands before handling my food items. This location was at one point great but the last 2 times I have visited it's been awful. The time before there was a dead fly in the display case. Be better I know it's possible it was in the past.
Great Always love the bakery

Very disappointed with cake. The color is more neon pink and less a true rose like in the bakery photo. The heart is misshapen and the pipe job on the boarder is not the same placement or size. Instead of a cute vintage cake—I received a sorry looking knockoff. If your store staff doesn’t have the skill to make the cakes appropriately don’t put them on the website. 🤷🏻♀️
Enjoyed a late breakfast with 7cousins as a mini reunion this morning. Food was fabulous, serverswere gracious, smiling, and very friendly. Manager visited our table for short time was was very friendly and welcoming. Assured us we were welcome to visit as long as we liked. We teased and said we'd stayed so long, we might have lunch! Plan to come back often. Thank you for such a great place to dine!

Breakfast was really good, the atmosphere was perfect. Huge kids portions (kids, boys 7/9, wanted the pancakes and they could have shared one kids portion). Hubs had eggs bene, said the ham was the best. Veggie omelet was huge. Had sample of the lemon bar which was amazing. Wanted desserts after breakfast but we were full. Will be stopping back by later this afternoon to fulfill that sweet tooth we all got just looking at their bakery.

The chocolate, peanut butter cup cake/cake is heavenly. Our family also loves the strawberry cake.
Extra bonus is their Thanksgiving and Easter meals that you order ahead and pick up. They are really good.
