Ordered a bbq salad. Came in box that had probably been made up the day before. It was a handful of lettuce, about .5 ounce of bbq and a little cheese. Nothing else and it was 12.95. Absolutely horrible. Will not be back.

It's a bunch of young people working in there and it seems to be playtime. This was my first time going back since they're reopening and my food was horrible and old. I got two pork plates the pork was dry, hard and hardly had any barbecue. You could tell all the food had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours on end. My corn nuggets and fried green tomatoes were so hard from sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The mac and cheese was also hard from sitting under the heat lamp. I was told I was waiting on fresh fries for my order but when I got home I didn't have them. I called up there to let them know that I didn't receive my fries and let him know about the food and they were supposed to make me a whole new plate but when I got there only had me cold fries for my replacement. To say the least I was highly disgusted and disappointed and will not be going back. I paid over $30 for food that was not even edible.

Food was ok, staff was more concerned with screwing around in the back than getting our food out to us though(we could see them). One other table in the restaurant, at least 4 people working and nobody could get the food out to us that wasn’t brought to the table initially, it just sat in the fried until we asked finished the food we had and then asked for it……
Kemp's was delicious! I'm so glad they are back open now. Had a hamburger steak with real mashed potatoes and gravy with onion gravy on the hamburger steak. Green beans mmmmmmmmm good. You get more than enough. I'll be able to eat some for tomorrow. Everyone is very nice and attentive

Ate at Golden Rule BBQ today, but they have other dishes too. I had country fried steak, potato salad and baked beans. Went at a time when they were very busy but my food was fast and exceptionally good. Service was very friendly and fast. As an addition, the price is good too. You should try this place. My waitress, Donna was right on spot and Charles came out to make sure I was happy with everything as he did with other guests too.
