Great food and great place. Chopped cheese sandwich was straight outta new york. Also got a shrimp po boy. The remoulade sauce was phenomenal and was better than one in new orleans, for real. The homemade potato chips were really good also. 5 stars guys keep it up!

Love this place my new sammich shop to go to the young man and lady are very nice food has great flavor potato salad is unique but very good don’t get the spicy sausage sammich unless you can actually handle the temp it puts the one chip challenge to shame but the flavors are spot on I will return for more of their food come all and enjoy this great food

Husband and I went for first time today and will for sure return, often! I had the chopped Italian. Bread and ingredients were so good, fresh and just so well put together. Husband had Nashville Chicken sandwich and the nice guy at the counter put the slaw on the side bc my husband doesn’t typically eat it, and he was converted. It was so good! We’re excited to have a local option with good people and food to support.

Awful service. $30 for two salads that took 30 minutes to get. There were 4 people in the deli so it wasn’t the line. Clearly their focus is door dash and to go orders. Food was not good. Skip this place and just buy pre made from grocery store and save $20. What a waste of time.
Edit. Thank you for the refund and the accountability. I am changing my review because clearly you guys do care about your customers and mistakes do happen to everyone. The sandwich’s did look very good and I hope others will continue to support your business and we will be back for another shot.

Today, I visited Henrietta's, a locally owned establishment, where Chef John masterfully layers flavors in each sandwich, far exceeding the expectations set by the photographs. This quaint deli seamlessly transports you from Trussville to a New York-style deli with its first bite, offering an astonishingly vast culinary experience in a small town. Additionally, the brunch menu, not pictured here, is highly recommended, particularly the hand-grated, cooked-to-order hash browns. Henrietta's is undoubtedly more than a sandwich shop – it is a must-visit destination.

Had lunch here for the first time this past weekend - I ordered the LRG sandwich and my husband had the Italian - they were both amazing! So happy we stumbled upon this place! They also serve homemade chips with your choice of seasoning which did not disappoint. Worth the price!
It was pretty pricey, but I LOVED this Italian sandwich. And I'll gladly pay it again for another. I really liked the chips too!

My taste buds are igniting! I had the LRG and man it was so good. This food is top nitch and not like another deli around. The food is well thought out and only the finest and freshest ingredients. My sandwhich had preserved lemon may and fresh arugula & I'm quite certain I've never had something quite like this! It's delicious. 50/10.

It doesn’t live up to the hype in my opinion. First of all, it was way overpriced. I had the prime steak sandwich, which she said was their most popular sandwich. I guess they wanted it to be like prime rib. The meat was VERY rare and ice cold. (Not my cup of tea.) I ate some of my husband’s Reuben and it was ok, just ok. Neither sandwich had a lot of meat. The homemade chips were good. But I wish I’d just gotten a salad. Definitely not worth almost $40!
As far as atmosphere, it was extremely hot in the restaurant. We were there at an odd time so it was not crowded. At peak times, it’s probably very hot and very loud.

I eat here 2-3 times a week on average. I’m the type of person that’s on the lookout for fresh foods that make me feel good when I’m done eating. Our gut health is the foundation of most of our issues in my opinion and to have a place that has passion along with quality in their product is irreplaceable. I love this place and you will to! PS try the “Reuben or Messy P” with the fresh made lemon pepper chips.
To the H-Deli family behind the counter, thank you for doing what you do!

My friend Heather at Birmingham Christian Magazine told me about this deli and I'm glad she did! We had the Reuben and the adult grilled cheese, both were delicious. The homemade salt and pepper chips were also fantastic. I love that they sell local products in the front of the store too. We will definitely be regulars!

Have eaten at Henrietta's a few times now and highly recommend it. The fact that they are using a lot of seasonal ingredients keps things interesting on their specials and sandwiches. Everything I've tried so far has been stand out, including the tomato sandwich, salmon sandwich, and veggie sandwich. Recently tried the breakfast ,which is available all day and was blown away by the breakfast quiesh with a nice salad on the side. All in all, it is a great addition to Trussville. Please support this local restaurant.
