Whoever that manager is 🤏 you have gotten this restaurant together. Service. A++++ the bartender she was amazing and kept on top of everyone’s orders! Food phenomenal yall absolutely slapped with the food tonight. Dare I say this was the best steakhouse experience in Birmingham?!! I mean yall look at the photos. Definitely come here. Also try the old fashion. It’s their own distinctive recipe and it’s classic and well balanced.

Our family visited a couple of nights ago and our waiter Miguel came to our table immediately and greeted us. The restuarant was clean, our sirloin, filet and chicken fingers were great. The best part of the experience was having a waiter like Miguel a 19 year old doing this for the summer and going back to Troy to college. Very professional and waiting on us wonderfully and great at his job. Thanks Miguel for making our night wonderful.

Went to trussville location service was not good Order ribeye was so tough under cooked told waitress she just looked at us we left half of it .Lot of money and not able to chew and eat wil not go back

Y'all let me tell y'all bout longhorn it is my baby sweet 16. She chose longhorn. We added ourselves to wait list this morning for 12 at 4. We got there bout 3 and checked in after that we waited bout 15 minutes. One of our servers was Miss Candy and one was Miss Sadie. They treated us like we was the only ones there. It was truly wonderful. My baby had a ball there for her sweet 16. They came out and song to my baby. She is still talking about how she had a ball with her family and 2 of her school friends. Thank y'all so much longhorn for treating my baby like royalty. Y'all keep up the good work. Bless Miss Candy and Miss Sadie. Y'all Rock!!!!

Honestly can't find a single flaw in my meal or experience. The host and waitress were very nice. Our filets were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The sides were all hot and tasty. Prices were fair.

Let me tell you what!!! I’m from Texas and have been to a lot of steak houses and I just ate the juiciest bone in ribeye that was perfectly cooked. Bradley did a great job at cooking our steak. He deserves a pay raise. Are server Chad was so respectful and on point. Thanks again for the absolutely best service.

First time eating here we got take out and it was delicious. Second time we were dining in. We were sat down fairly quickly, they weren't busy and waited 15-20 minutes with no one acknowledging us. So we decided to go sit at the bar, which is usually great and fast service. So the bartender greeted us and said he would be right with us. He verified an order with someone seated in the bar area, walked to the back and when he came back out he preceded to unload the dishwasher. Mind you, we still don't even have water. He completely ignored us to put up dishes. Then he walked to the back again. We left. That was absolutely ridiculous. Get us water and see if we want an appetizer, or if were ready to order. The dishes obviously wait for customers. We are so disappointed because the food is good and now we don't even want to go back.

Unfortunately, our dining experience was disappointing. The steaks, ordered medium, were severely overcooked—tough, dry, and comparable in texture to bricks. Even the kids commented that they tasted like what tires might taste like. I ordered the parmesan-crusted steak, expecting a flavorful, crisp crust. Instead, I received a piece of meat simply topped with melted parmesan—no actual crust or texture.

The bread was equally problematic: so dense and stale that it was nearly impossible to tear or chew. While our waiter was genuinely kind and professional (one of the only highlights of the visit), the food quality did not match the service.

The decor felt outdated—very early 2000s, with dark, heavy furnishings—and unfortunately, the menu felt just as stuck in the past. Overall, the experience left much to be desired. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Went there today for a birthday lunch with my family. I ordered the longhorn porterhouse steak and asked for a medium rare steak. They brought out a medium well steak and then took it back more well done than before. Needless to say I sent it back this time and told them I no longer wanted it due to being over cooked 2 times already. My family finished there meals before I even had a chance to eat at all. We left not happy and I was still hungry.

My husband and I usually visit a different restaurant for our Friday night dates, but our usually restaurant has declined in their customer service efforts. We were sooooo pleased with our experience at Longhorn in Trussville!! The food was amazing. We sat at the bar and Kenny our server was helpful, knowledgeable, funny and responsive. We will certainly be back.
