We were traveling through Alabama last night and decided to stop in Trussville for a bite to eat. I really wanted barbeque so we settled on Rodney Scott's.
Was about 6pm and they were quite busy, had a line at the door but we didn't wait long and had Amber as our server. She was really nice and sweet, very helpful service!
Wanted the 2 meat combo but they were out of ribs, luckily Amber recommended the cheddarwurst sausage and I was not disappointed. Girlfriend got the loaded tater truck and let's just say we have plenty of leftovers...
Was too full to eat any more but Amber convinced us to try Ella's Banana Pudding. I'll admit it's better than my grandma's (but don't tell her that, I hope she's not checking my reviews but if she does she'll just have to try it herself).
Highly recommended if you're driving through Trussville, even late in the day! Ask for Amber as your server she knows the menu like the back of her hand and is very helpful.

I'm not one who normally writes a review, however this was my first time here and will not be my last time. Food was fantastic. I wasn't sure what I wanted and a lady named Amber (Cashier) made a suggestion. She wasn't wrong. Amber won my vote to return. Nice place, great food. Friendly people.

The food was vast well I don't complain, the customer service I loved a young man named Esward was quite charismatic, and the best part was the atmosphere I felt agute and nostalgic, something extra to add was that I was surprised that the young Esward was bilingual than a good worker.
I feel like Amber is a company asset. Not only did she make sure I was taken care of but she also gave me gracious conversation while I was waiting for my food. Her radiant attitude and the wonderful atmosphere around the store is definitely a reason that I'll be back.
Amber is amazing and she was an awesome server and she was quick and efficient. The ribs she served me was great as well. I swear y'all better keep her because id definitely come back thanks to her

I had an exceptional experience at this BBQ spot, thanks to Amber’s outstanding service. She was incredibly polite and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. This was by far the best experience I've ever had at a barbecue restaurant, and I’ll definitely be returning. The service was nothing short of phenomenal, and I highly recommend trying the Hush Puppies!
I don't think I've ever had a cashier that met my needs like Amber. I was in a really big rush to get food, and try to beat the traffic to get home to my dog. She's courteous she knows her job. And the food was phenomenal. Not only will I be recommending this place to everyone that I know in all of my friends but I'll definitely be back
