So I pull up to this place on Friday morning/ afternoon at about 11:15. It says that the restaurant opens at 11 a.m. Although when I approach the door I realize that they are not open. I do not know if this is an issue due to the employees or the owner but what I do know is if you say you open at 11 it is unacceptable to open any later than that posted time. I have wasted my time and I promise, I for one will not be back.
Ordered up a pizza for carryout, and the ticket was misplaced. They offered me a free dessert and fired up my order. When I got home and opened the pizza I found $10 taped to the inside of the box. Wish I could give 10 stars. Best pizza in trussville as is, but that customer service is amazing!
Finally decided to try Salvatore's and let me say, they were AWESOME! Best pizza I have ever had! Plus the atmosphere was quaint and fun just like you would envision a true pizza parlor to be! And to the guy that took our order, you are AWESOME!!! We can't wait to go again!
What can I say. Its authentic family Italian restaurant. Bo is the nicest. She has a great knowledge of Wine and pasta. Tell her Franklin Higginsbooth recommended.
I would tell you how good it was but its too good i don't evan know were to start
If you haven't tried Salvatore‘s Pizza yet, you don't know what you're missing. Gigantic slices of pizza and they are delicious. Looking forward to trying more items, as the menu is very expansive.
I'm not sure what happened to this place. I used to eat here litterally ever week and it was amazing. But I couldn't go for a couple of months. Tonight I went by and grabbed some fettuccine Alfredo. It was old, didn't taste good. The shrimp in it was old and I'm kinda concerned that I may get sick. Also they didn't peel the shrimp all the way so I got to crunch on hard shells.
I went in open minded and hopeful, despite negative reviews. Was severely disappointed. I ordered the Lasagna and only took 2 bites. It just didn't taste right. Ended up throwing it out. For 3 people we spend $40 and none were impressed. A week later I went to Olive Garden and their lasagna was spectacular! I ate every bite of my Olive Garden Lasagna! When Olive Garden is better than an authentic Italian restaurant, you know your in trouble!
I may have made my last visit. Been going for years. Today, I ordered my usual favorite, Shrimp Fett Pesto Alfredo. Years ago, this was like heaven. Full of shrimp, artichokes, mushrooms and sundried tomatoes. It is $15.50. Today I got 4 shrimp, NO artichokes and a small amt of the other ingredients. I have noticed for a while that the quality was been going downhill. For $16 that was the final straw. I am sad because it used to be a favorite place to eat.
Great place to have lunch. Yes I would go back again. I recommend this place.

Very good pizza.
Best pizza I've had in Alabama
My parents and I are here at least once a week. If it was up to my dad we would be here more. The pizza is very good, the service is spot-on.
Great food. Large portions at a good price.
Very good pizza place. I ordered the Salvatore's special calzone for lunch and it was really tasty and probably the biggest one I've seen in a while. Highly recommend.
