My friend and I had lunch here for the first time, and we both ordered the Reuben sandwich with a salad. I wish there would have been more meat in my sandwich (which cost $16 with an iced tea), but it was still delicious. My biggest complaint was with the staffing. There were three servers, and they all worked our table. No sooner had one left than another would arrive to ask if we needed anything. It was intrusive!

It’s an ok place for lunch. I just had a sandwich and drink and paid about what you would anywhere else ($15) if you were trying to support local businesses. I read the reviews, and maybe if I had gotten any type of dessert, my opinion might be better. The sandwich was ok, nothing I’d come back for and the bag of plain lays chip is what it is. My server brought my drink, took my order and I never saw her again. The vibe just felt odd in there. I really wanted to love this place based on past reviews.

Grabbed a quick lunch while in Trussville at the Three Earred Rabbit. It's located near the entertainment district, so it offers walking distance if you're out for a fun shopping/eating day. I opted for a French dip sandwich, which was good. There wasn't a ton of meat on the sandwich and that would probably be my only complaint about the food. They offer some half & half combos and a soup of the day. All staff were friendly and helpful. I gave 4 stars though because the restaurant seems a little unfinished when it comes to decor. It's almost like you're eating lunch in a storage room - mismatched furniture, stacks of chairs, and not a ton of decor on the walls. It obviously does not impact the taste of the food, just my opinion!

November 11, 2023 addition to review: Attended bridal shower for friend's daughter today. We were there an hour before regular opening for the party. The one that booked the party had issues when confirming reservation several weeks ago. They said the reservation was a different time. Was suspect and then today found out why....they double booked parties. Ours was small (12 attendees) and the other was large (approx. 20 or more). Obviously they were making more money with the larger .group. Large group was so loud and boisterous, we had to practically scream to hear each other. Instead of waiting until gifts had been opened, wait staff started coming and getting our orders....standing and blocking our view from seeing the bride. Got the impression they were rushing us. At one point a staff member stood close to where bride was sitting and was commenting on the gifts being opened. Really? Should have stayed in the background. Food was mediocre at best today. Cake the hosts ordered had way to much icing and most left the icing on the plate. Also note that as stated in original review, tables were sticky. May need to find better products to clean the tables.Noticed as the other party was winding down (but no where near leaving) that the staff started moving their personal items and making room to seat a walk in party of three. Personally if I walked in a restaurant that obviously had two parties going on, I would have left, but apparently those folks were desperate.Previous review: Had their food before but today was first time to "eat in". Went in after the normal lunch hours. Tables were dirty. Ours never got wiped down. Waitress took my tea order while friend went to restroom. A waiter came and put the tea down in front of my friend without asking who had ordered. When asked he brought another glass...neither was full. Took our sandwich order and when he brought the food, he went and got one fork. Had to ask for napkins. The original waitress came by and asked if food was okay about three bites in and left ticket. After that, no contact from staff til we went to the register. We ran out of tea, with no offer of refill. I paid for our lunch and left a tip but it would have been better if we had received better service. Thankful I carry a drink with me in the car, so i was able to quench my thirst. Considering the cost and service, I will continue to go to Toast in Pell City when I want a sandwich experience. Always good service and food is way better.

The Three Eared Rabbit is a treasure to have in Trussville! The sandwiches are top notch, and you can't beat the sides. The fruit salad with the sweet topping? I crave it! The sweet treats are delicious as well. Try the Four Corners sandwich. It's so good!

Never open, seems like the place has died out or something. Wouldn’t recommend wasting your time going here, usually gonna have a locked door or told “we are only serving cold foods”.

My son and I stopped In for a dessert in the afternoon. We had a sundae and a milkshake. They both tasted fine. Nothing over the top but it was good so no complaints. The service here is majorly lacking. I was given my sundae way before my son received his milkshake. I had to stop eating it so I didn't finish before he was given his dessert. One of the ladies working was obviously training and didn't know how to make the items and use the machines or know the ratios of ingredients to use. Not her fault at all and I do not blame our experience on her. However, the lady that did know how to make the items left her alone to wait on another customer that came in way after us to buy a frozen casserole. I don't understand why you would stop serving someone in order to wait on someone else that just walked in???? Take two mins to finish making the milkshake so your only two dine in customers can enjoy their desserts together and tell the customer at the front that you will be there in 2 mins. It made for awkwardness and an unpleasant experience. I'm hoping they see this comment and use it as constructive criticism for the next customers!

Highly recommend this place for lunch or brunch. I highly recommend the chicken and dumplings when available. The French Dip sandwich was the best I'd had in a long time. Also homemade carrot raisin salad is fantastic!

Friendly and efficient staff. I ate their delicious grilled cheese with tomatoes. I also ordered a custom Birthday Cake for my grandson, and I bought a jar of Strawberry Pepper Jelly. One stop shopping! I trust them and will continue to go there as I have for years. They never disappoint!Parking: I am always able to find convenient parking.

My wife and I have been looking for a nice place to get lunch and luckily we found it. It’s hard to say which was better the staff or the food both were great. The young lady who took care of us had a happy demeanor about her, so much so she seemed as excited to make the banana split for our 8 year old as our daughter was to eat it. If I could give more stars I would!!!
