We had a great time with customers celebrating the tip off of the bb tourney. The atmosphere was great, food was great, and the service was greater than great. Alana did an awesome job. She was attentive to everything we needed and explained everything very well. She has a great personality and is professional, but also very fun. Also would like to thank Landon for all his help as well as Bryan. We will definitely have more outings here.

Tamara was wonderful! She was an absolute joy to be around, i can honestly say she is one in a million. I have been at various restaurants in Trussville and it’s rare to find people like her. Her customer service was top tier!! She was prompt, professional and courteous! This was my first experience at Walk-Ons and Tamara took the time to explain the menu with us . I can’t say enough good things about her…TAMARA was an absolute GEM!

Overall it was a great! The food was good (my steak on the sandwich, was a bit over seasoned, making it a little too salty, but it was tender and the po’boy bread is so yummy. Sometimes, even if the food is good, the service can dictate whether or not you have a positive dining experience, and in our case, the service elevated our lunch date. We had Tamara and she was wonderful! Very friendly and knew just when to check on us without being overbearing. She was a pleasure and I would go back just to see her :)

Came here with some friends for a celebration and we really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. They have a ton of TVs - great for watching some March Madness or during football season. They stay pretty busy, but the staff did a good job of checking on us frequently. The inside of the restaurant is bigger than you would think, but you may have to wait, depending on if there is a big sporting event going on / how busy they are! We tried the Boudin Balls for an appetizer. They were really good, and had just the right amount of heat. I would definitely get these again. For my meal, I got an order of wings and some fries. The wings I got split in two flavors, both of which were decent, but nothing amazing. The fries were good. I'm sure we'll come here again, and I look forward to trying more of their menu!

This is a must visit in Trussville. We dined at new Trussville location on 3/16/24.First off, gotta give a shout out to Sarah for the awesome service!! She was busy and hustling but still had time to provide a great service to us. Sarah, thank you. Good luck on the exams!Place was packed at 8pm. We were told 45 minute wait, but were seated within 15 minutes!!I had the Ragin’ Redfish with crawfish cream sauce, rice and broccoli, and a bowl of red beans and rice. Very delicious. Wife had ribeye with mashed potatoes and green beans. Her steak was a bit over cooked but still very good. Landon, the GM went above and beyond to make it right. (Thank you Landon).Sorry guys no pictures this time. But don’t worry, we will be visiting this restaurant again very soon.

Wouldn’t recommend the spicy jalapeño margarita. Boom boom shrimp tacos were bland (might have been better if served with a lime or some type of sauce) served with chips that were stale, and “queso” which was a small cup of cold cheese. Waffle fries were overcooked and so tough my four year old couldn’t chew them. My husband liked his buffalo chicken sandwich, and we did enjoy the Devils on Horseback appetizer (shrimp cream cheese and bacon, fried). Atmosphere is typical sports bar type. Service was great. Priced high for the quality of food that we got. Maybe we caught them on a bad night- it was really packed.

Food was amazing! Had the fried alligator appetizer and it was tender and not chewy as if it were overcooked. For my entree I had the ahi tuna salad and omg was it HUGE! it was also delicious with an Asian vinegarette that was so amazing! And of course even the best dining experience can be ruined if service isn't good, but our server, Myla I believe was her name, was absolutely a delight! It was super busy when we went. As someone who worked over a decade in the industry, I have certain expectations I hold my servers to and she met them all. Never wondered "where'd our server go" as she checked on us regularly and provided for all our wants and needs. I will request her in the future. It was quite loud and you basically had to yell at each other to have a conversation, but the food and service was good enough that I'll endure the loud atmosphere again in the future, but if you're feeling overstimulated or a sensory overload, you may wanna go someplace quieter. Glad we went and will definitely return.

Alana was the best server! She was sweet and very accommodating. We came for my husband’s birthday. I ordered the boom boom shrimp tacos and he ordered the blackjack chicken sandwich. Both meals were great! We also had a round of the jalapeño margaritas and they were a spicy and refreshing drink. We finished the meal off with surprise birthday beignets and a sundae. The atmosphere was open, casual, and fun. Our orders came out fast. We will be back and sure to sit in Alana’s section. She anticipated our every need and has a warm, welcoming personality. Thank you for an excellent first visit!
