We had breakfast here one Saturday - the food was good as well as prices and staff was friendly. We bought a whole pie to take to relatives we were visiting!

I don’t think I’ve ever written a review for a restaurant before but after the TERRIBLE experience we Have just had I knew I had too. The first thing we experience after we walked through the door was the overwhelming scent of a commercial bathroom cleaner. We made the mistake of ignoring this and continued into the restaurant. We were stuck with a waitress that forgot what we asked for CONSTANTLY. I know she was only human but we were her only table. There were 10 of us. Then I needed to change my toddler and took him to the restroom. It was the size of a tiny apartment bathroom. It was SO HOT. There was no ventilation so it smelled disgusting and of course there was no changing table or even any flat surface other than the floor which was also exceptionally gross. Once we got back to the table to order we learned they were out of almost everything. For example they were out of bacon. They did not apologize or offer to replace the bacon or discount our meal for meals that were supposed to come with bacon. Then we got half of our appetizers on time and half AFTER we got our food which was almost an HOUR after we had ordered. We had taken some out of town family there because we had heard good things but we were mortified by the place. I absolutely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

friendly host, excellent service, and the food was great. fresh veggies from the garden! yum-yum. such a down home feeling!

My husband said it was one of the best ribeye steaks he’s eaten. His baked potato was hot, fresh & fluffy. I got the chicken tenders & sweet potato. Tenders were hand-battered & tasty. Sweet potato was perfectly baked & hot. Service was great...waitress was efficient & friendly. Prices were reasonable for us. What I didn’t care for was a note on the menu where they charge extra for extra condiments. And an extra charge if you use a credit card. These extra charges should be built into your menu prices. Aside from that, it was a nice meal.

Had some interesting décor. Clean. The food was average. It was convenient to out hotel, but probably wouldn't go back if in the area.

I ordered the hamburger steak. My husband had the meat loaf. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We will most definitely eat here again!

My business partners went there for a late lunch. It was our first time there since the new owners have had it and we were very impressed. So much so that we decided to have our business Christmas party/dinner at Coldwater Mill. I had the meatloaf, okra and macaroni and cheese and it was all delicious. I can't wait to have our Christmas dinner there this weekend!

Stopped by on our way to Huntsville. Our server was very personable with us but also other customers. We had the Patty Melt and BLT with onion rings. Everything tasted great. We will stop here and eat again.
Had lunch here and was definitely impressed. We ordered a BLT sandwich and a Cobb salad. Both were very good. The tomatoes were amazing on the blt and the Cobb salad was one of the best I’ve ever had. We also really liked the sweet tea. We will definitely be back. Service was great and prices were reasonable as well.
