The hubby and I stopped by Mary Lee's for an early dinner while exploring Tuscumbia, a city we'd never been to before. We started off with fried mushrooms, followed by the chicken tenders platter for the hubs and a double bacon cheeseburger with seasoned fries for myself. The fried mushrooms were hand breaded, the seasoning in the breading was chef's kiss perfect. The chicken tenders were fried to perfection, perfectly seasoned and also hand breaded. The burger...I'm not scared to admit i was intimidated by it lol. The meat was hand pattied and seasoned just right, and the veggies tasted like they had just come from a garden out back. We were both completely stuffed before we finished our meals, and even though this place is over an hour away from our home turf, we will most certainly be back!!

One of my favorite restaurants in the shoals area. Amazing burgers, wings, Philly cheesesteak, fries and desserts. I highly recommend Mary Lee’s. We are so blessed and thankful to have them on Colbert Heights. Check them out!!

We came a little out of our way to try Mary Lee’s based on the excellent reviews - it was so worth it! Best chicken tenders I’ve ever had! The service and hospitality were also excellent.

This place is a hidden gem on the mountain. The food is amazing and very reasonably priced and I always feel like family when I walk in! They know my order by heart and make me feel so welcome.

Came across this out in the country restaurant while out riding. My first time there. I had the mushroom Swiss burger with fries. Food came pretty quick. Service was great. Our server was very polite and checked on us several times. I would highly recommend and support their business. Since it’s local and family owned.

I got Cheeseburger and fries and tea. Tea is a little to sweet. But other than that it was great.

Down home local place. Home cooked food. Giant hamburger. Tender chicken fingers. About four miles off the main road. Worth your trip. Good onion rings.

Best place to eat hands down! Everything is always made to order. Great hardworking staff. They have the best burgers and chicken tenders!

This a great, family owned and operated cafe’. Always amazing food and service. The food is cooked to order, they don’t cook up a bunch of food and let it sit for hours, it’s always fresh.
If they’re busy it’s going to take a few minutes, but it’s worth it. So, if that makes you scream at the staff, act like a jerk and leave a bad review, I guess that’s just the kind of sad, pathetic person you are.

Well I guess I’ll be the first non-5 star. I chose this place because of their rating and the fact we love small family establishments. The simple complaint is we waited 45 minutes to get our food. Once it finally arrived, my onion rings were raw. The reason for 2 stars is my wife’s salad was good and my wings were fine, though we’d ordered the sauce on the side and they came drenched.

I probably would have walked away without posting this review, but I went in to wash my hands after eating wings and one of the workers was complaining to other customers about us. I’m certainly not sure why she was complaining about us. All my wife did was check on the status of our food after about 40 minutes since we were sitting outside with our dog. I suggested in the future, if you are so busy that you let your customers know it may take longer than usual. When I commented to her and the group she was complaining to, she did offer to refund our money to which I rejected. Funny thing my wife had also left a 20% tip (“To Insure Prompt Service”) in the jar at the counter when she ordered. I can tell your restaurant is popular by the crowd. I hope you can improve your timeline for food and certainly treat your customers as you would expect to be treated.

I don’t know where to start. 10 stars! This place is a hidden Gem and it should be on diners and drives! The food is amazing, well balanced, not over seasoned or under seasoned. It’s fresh. The fried foods are light and crunchy, so just right! Every single aspect of the food has been perfected down to the little details. That’s my experience! You can tell the owner and staff really care! Thanks again and I’ll be back!!!
