We decided to visit on July 4th, during day, as we didn't want to be there when alcohol is being served. 4 adults and a toddler. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich because I have a meat allergy. Two had the rustler burgers, not sure of the rest. We had fried pickles for an appetizer. Pickles were hot both in temperature and spices. Chicken sandwich only lukewarm. Fries tasted like regular frozen fries, nothing spectacular. Experience was neat, but I don't feel any desire to go back.

Friendly staff, cool dining area under an overhanging rock formation that shades the seating... Keeping it cool on the 90° day we went!
Lots of history here, with a little gift shop and a neat art center that has many hand carved pieces.. very talented artist! Overall good food and service!!

You ride a short taxi truck to get the place because of the steep hill. The driver works for tips and the wait time is short so have some cash on you to pay a tip. That's coming AND going.
They have a saloon with the swinging doors if you want eat inside but the tables are small for 4 people. The tables outside are large enough for 8 people. The ground is sloped so the tables are sloped, some are even bent so choose your seating carefully.
We went for Sunday lunch and it was half capacity. Staff was friendly and prompt. Food is delicious. Menu is one page so making a choice was easy.

Menu is horrible!! Prices are for the eating in a cove experience. Food is something you wouldn’t even make at home. Looks like a 5 year old put it together. It’s like a giant kids menu. Would not recommend at all!

Fun place to stop, eat, listen to some music.

I’ve heard about this place for years since I moved to Alabama over 3 years ago and made it there for the first time today. Went for lunch on a Sunday. Food was great, live music was awesome, and overall had a great experience. Lots of other reviews regarding the food and it being less than desirable, and to be honest, I’m not sure what they mean. Everyone in our party loved their meals from the appetizer to the main plates.

Service was quick and attentive and even on a hot July day, it was nice and comfortable in the dining area. Bugs and flies were present at times but that’s to be expected with an outdoor restaurant.

Had a blast and can’t wait to go back!

Really wish more fans would be placed on the outside facing the tables and the cave almost miserable to eat in July even at 8pm

Arrived there at 12 pm on a Saturday, my party and I were asked to leave or wait 2 hours by the guy transporting people up and down the hill. So we left, and I can't give an honest review

We have been camping and riding horses here since 2015. We always had the best time and wonderful service and food at the restaurant. Unfortunately, the last two times over the previous 6 months was not the best experience. Both times, we waited 1-2 hours for food and then got cold food. The previous visit, we were incorrectly charged for our weekend due to the front check in not properly applying our previously paid deposit. This past weekend, we were once again charged incorrectly. When I called to speak to the front desk, the office manager was extremely rude and unwilling to resolve the issue. She claimed it was due to credit card fees (the highest credit card fee I’ve ever experienced and I travel all over). I nicely told her she needs to inform customers of this beforehand, as we could have paid cash or wrote a check. She then lied and stated she did, although I have 4 witnesses who checked in with me to confirm she did not. Her condescending tone led me to believe she could care less about customer experience and satisfaction. Due to this, my group and I will not be returning to this campground.

They weren’t too busy, and the service was awesome. The food was pretty good as well! Would definitely go back. It was such a fun experience!!!

I was just in awe with the restaurant under the cave. Just a beautiful venue. Yes the food was mainly bar food but it was good & very tasty. I’m planning to go back soon! Very cool place!

Rattlesnake Saloon--what an amazing experience. It's so different from most restaurants. It literally starts in the parking lot. There's a campground around the parking lot that was filled, when we were there, with horses in corrals, pull behind campers, horse trailers, chairs around campfire rings. Just pure western. Then there's the 'taxi' that you wait for at the taxi shed to be picked up and taken to the restaurant. The 'taxi' is a big white truck that has steel steps to the bench seats in the back of the truck.( Bring cash for a tip to give to the driver.) The short drive to the restaurant is a treat in itself. The road goes from an open area thru the campground to an area surrounded by trees, and curves down to the restaurant. The restaurant is outside tucked back in this huge rock cave. Round tables are covered with beautiful white cloth tablecloths. Our server was amazing, so friendly and attentive. And the food was delicious. Just so much fun!!

What a neat and unique place and experience!! The food was extremely good, I had the Duke burger with onion rings and fried mushrooms. Our waitress was fantastic, and the whole restaurant being situated under a deep overhang was a neat experience!!!
