Really wanted a Reuben but they were out of corned beef. Burger was ok but bacon was burnt to a crisp and one burger was wrong. Fries were just a soggy pile of potatoes. The deserts were pretty good. Wasn't a fan of someone ( cook or owner I believe) describing someone's appearance as being from one of those "sand" countries. Not too hard to say Middle Eastern. Not very professional in front of customers.

Chef Salad is the best I’ve ever had’ The meat is not that processed stuff that you get from the grocery deli, it’s real meat that is then grilled. Absolutely delice!! Hubby had the Reuben with fries and he said all was really good. Great cupcakes too!

From the moment you walk in, you are hit with nostalgia of the Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin days. Very unique decor and fun family atmosphere. Brings back some great memories. The food is delicious, and their prices are great! We have tried their ribeyes, wings, specialty sandwiches and other things, and they never disappoint. The desserts are sinfully good also! The owner, cooks and servers are very friendly, warm and professional. My family and friends always have an enjoyable experience there. The guitar player/singer they have every other Friday night is great too. We enjoy listening to all the familiar tunes. There is karaoke on Saturday nights, which is always fun. All around it’s a wonderful experience, and if you have never been there, I would highly recommend it. We need to support our local businesses, so come on out and be taken back in time.

Stumbled across this place while traveling home to Ohio. The steak sandwiches were excellent and our teenage kids had no complaints (wow ?). Fresh cut fries were excellent with the Chipotle ranch. Staff was wonderful and attentive and made great recommendations for our group. Wish we lived closer so we could come back sooner. Loved getting samples of things we missed out on.Will definitely try to seek out this place on our next trip to Alabama. What a happy accident!
Stopped here on are way home to Ohio. Very friendly people food was great. Definitely will be coming here in the future. Definitely check this place out.

Since they've opened a couple of years ago, I have tried to eat here at least five times. Always during times they're supposed to be open. For some reason, THEY ARE NEVER OPEN when they say they're going to be. Save yourself the trouble and eat somewhere where they actually open during their business hours. Extremely disappointing.EDIT, RESPONSE TO OWNER:Your emotional response displays your lack of professionalism. As a potential customer, I expect a business to be open when they say they're going to be open. It's not my fault you don't have a cook, and I'm not sure what you think it will prove if I have to come show you how to cook. The quality of the food was never my issue; the fact that I can never try your food because you aren't open during your business hours is my complaint. When you decide to be consistent, and professional, and I can actually try your food, then maybe I'll change my review.

I'm going to DOUBLE the stars, I give them a 10 . It's a hole in the wall place, but the food was absolutely delicious. There health Dept. rating was a 94, which I haven't seen very few restaurants with that high of a score in a while. My husband and I both had a TBone with a salad & his with fries mine with a baked potato, for $20.99 each. The TBONE'S which were 16oz.covered the entire plate. It was extremely thick 1 1/4 thick at least. My husband likes his well done and that always means it's tough as shoe leather. Not here, he said it was extremely tender. I like mine medium which usually means rare with a plate full of blood every where else, but here it was cooked to protection and not still bleeding. Put it this way I would & am highly recommended the Groovy Grub Cafe for the BIGGEST, BEST TASTING AFFORDABLE STEAK around. We will ABSOLUTELY BE GOING BACK, real soon.
