My husband and I live in Georgia. We stopped by with our twins while we were out showing land. My husband is a land specialist and Realtor in Georgia and Alabama. We really enjoyed our meal; everything was delicious. The owner came over to talk to us, and he was so friendly that it made us feel at home as if we had known him for a long time. The wonderful employees were all very sweet as well. It's a beautiful place with delicious food. Your friends from Georgia will be back! Oh yeah and delicious homemade Ranch.

The wife and I each got a sampler platter...a staggering amount of food. We definitely had a to go box after. The brisket has a great bark, the wings and pulled pork are nice and flavorful, and the ribs have a nice sweetness to them. The original dock sauce was our favorite to slather on.
We eat boondocks at least a couple times a week.. This is the first bad experience we’ve had.. The French fries on the 2 meals we got were not cooked.. They were crunchy

We were visiting the area with my husband's high school / college friends. We take an annual trip somewhere every year. This year we chose to come to Wedowee and stay at a house on the lake. We had dinner at Boondocks. The food was delicious. The service was fantastic, the staff were very friendly. We'll definitely eat here again if we are in the area. The pulled pork is delicious, as well as the loaded potato.
