I ate at the old location for years. The new location has larger seating capacity. The cooking service will be cured in time. It's like curing a cast iron pot. Megan is a great waitress busy as a bee. I had the small bbq plate with huge onion rings, baked beans Mac and cheese. My wife had hamburger steak with onion rings. No photos today.

I was under the weather so I decided to come here for some chili and a grilled cheese. While here I decided to try their Brunswick stew too! OMG !!! So delicious & hearty!! Kens is some of the best, if not the best, barbecue in central Alabama. They are located about 3 miles from my home and it always feels like I'm traveling to a small town restaurant, miles away, even though it's not. The staff is always so friendly, food well seasoned and you know it's been cooked with love. I recommend the burger or the inside chopped bbq sandwich.
