Best advise I can give the owner isGET YOUR FAMILY OUT OF YOUR BUSINESS! They do not care and they are ruining your business!Tonight, Pork Chop wasn't done, still had blood coming out. Creamed Potatoes were cold. When ask for hot potatoes, the cook, your daughter in law, sticks my entire plate in the microwave. Cornbread is now hard as a rock. Husbands steak tasted freezer burnt, like it was thawed in hot water or the microwave. Food is bland and honestly not worth paying for.I told her( your daughter in law, she was not doing the owner any service. They are killing the business, so sad!! Who wants to pay that much money for food that's worse than their 10 yr old can cook at home.Take the steak off the menuHire someone that knows how to cook and actually takes pride in their food even if you have pay them more money. If your going to serve instant potatoes, add some butter and a little seasoning and make sure they don't serve them made with cold water. There is a reason why people wait for 30 to 45 mins for a table at the Mexican Restaurant and your restaurant is empty.I hope you take this as constructive and make some changes because it really could be a nice restaurant. We've ate here several times but we want be back.

The customer service was awful, nobody welcomed us. After a few minutes and several walk bys and crazy looks a waitress finally said sit wherever you want (without even a smile) after sitting down and waiting several more minutes without being acknowledged by any staff we decided to leave and go elsewhere. Would not recommend this place.

This place opened its doors recently and they did it with a lot of heart. the breakfast is really a homemade southern breakfast. The owner is always looking after her kitchen and her customers, the kitchen is open, you can see when they prepare your food, they don't hide anything and that is priceless! The waitresses are very friendly and if you don't know their dishes don't worry, everything is very good!If one day you come to the Great State of Alabama and you are in the rural area near Wedowee on highway 431 don't hesitate to visit this restaurant.Where's the big pink pig!Parking: If you have a trailer with you don't worry, they have plenty of room for maneuvering!

My first taste of real southern food.I got fried chicken tenders with sides of cornbread, mashed potatoes and deviled eggs. The people at the restaurant were mostly locals, which makes it more likely that the place serves authentic southern food. I had some friends help me out with food selection.Food was yum and simple, but hit the spot after a long backpacking trip. They also sell candles, trinkets and other stuff in their store section of the restaurant.

Four of us went to eat. My sister and my mom ordered a meat and two. Both orders of butter beans were cold. Not warm, cold. We had to ask that they microwave them. My order was $11.99. The sprite they brought was flat. I asked for another one. My bill was very close to $18.00. Subtracting food and tax, I either paid $4 something for one canned Sprite, or I was also charged for the flat Sprite. My sister's ticket was $50 she gave a cash tip of $10. A couple of days later, she reviews her receipt. It included a 15% gratuity charge! That is unheard-of for only four people. The food was below average and the prices were inflated. We will not be going back. However, the young man who was our waiter was great. He had very good manners and was johnny-on-the-spot checking on us and bringing us whatever we needed. He said that he use to work at Jon Boys in Roanoke. I wish I could suggest to him to see if he could get his job back!

Checked this little place out on a whim for breakfast this morning. It's tucked back in a shopping center and you might miss it if you're not looking for it. Inside is a nicely decorated interior that just speaks southern charm. Seat yourself! The wait staff was friendly and warm throughout our visit. Breakfast had a nice variety of options from eggs and bacon to pancakes, omelettes, and more. Everything came out of the kitchen piping hot and cooked perfectly. No complaints at all! We will definitely return and highly recommend.
