I’m a baker and did not have the facility/ time to bake and decorate a cake . Picked a cake that was plain because we were in a hurry . Explained it was for an 80 yo birthday. They made a delicious moist incredible cake and even added a little extra detail.

We just had Brenda's fried pies at the Festival in Buchanan. We bought 8 the apple was gone so fast no time for a pictiure so I slowed down for pie 2. Peach sooo yummy! It's all been Sooooo GOOD! We will definitely be visiting Sweet Thangs for our future bakery needs!

I cannot say enough great things about this place. They make things that are sweet and that you probably shouldn't eat, but that are so good. And if you have a special request, as I did, they can likely fill it without a hitch.

The place is nice and cozy and the people were very nice and plus the food is awesome I had my birthday cake made there and it was perfect and I just had the egg and cheese bisket and trust me it was the best it was so good small in size but HUGE on flavor.

I ordered a cake last minute, and Lois most graciously was able to fill my order request for a round birthday cake with paw prints on it. The recipient said the cake tasted great and he loved it! When it comes time for my birthday cake, I shall make the drive down to Wedowee to get mine made too! Thank you very much for everything, Ms. Lois! See you in October!
