Very casual restaurant but the food was very good and it was comfort food. There were 3 of us for dinner and we all had the hamburger steak. Two of us had gravy on the hamburger steak. The gravy was very good. Busy place with only 2 severs and the service was outstanding!

I had eaten at pirates den many years ago (I live hours away) so I was very excited when my brother suggested we go there on my visit. To my disappointment it was not the same in any way, not the same location, not the same amazing salad bar, not the same great steaks. Our waiters shift ended right after he took our order and he left. We had no clue if our food had even been ordered. No communication between the staff and the customers, unless you were friends with the staff (we were sitting at a table close to 5 minutes before we were even acknowledged to being there). Just sad when I was so excited to have the same great food that I had been bragging on since our family reunion.

After the advice of family after attending the Funeral of my Mother and we were pleasantly surprised at the meal we ordered the Ribeye sandwich was the best I have ever eaten and I have eaten a lot of them across this country… My wife got the burger with side of mash potatoes and gravy and discovered that Mashed potatoes and gravy on top of a burger is delicious we highly recommend Pirates Den 👍👍

My family of four came in tonight we were seated immediately! Our waiter was amazing checking on us often kept our drinks full, and everything we needed. I drove for 30 minutes because i was hoping for a good cheeseburger & the cheeseburger i ordered was everything i wanted and more! Portions are far more than we could possibly eat! We will be back!

Drove from Northport, AL to pick up something in Guin and asked the man where was a good place to eat and he recommended Pirates Den and I am so glad we went. I got the 10 oz Ribeye and shrimp. The steak was great, cooked just how I ordered it and the shrimp were not overly battered and very good. IF you are in the area of Winfield and want some good food give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.

I ordered on DoorDash, so I can't really comment on the service or atmosphere. However, let me tell you about the hamburger steak I got. It was absolutely mouthwatering! Every time I'm in this area staying at the Hampton Inn, I make sure to treat myself to a hamburger steak, and it never disappoints. Trust me, it's always a perfect choice! I highly recommend it, without a doubt!

First time to eat here tonight! Some of the best food, grilled chicken strips were fabulous. Everything was fresh and great service.
