I ordered 2 plates and both was wrong. Put gravy on mash potatoes and pintos was burnt. We had heard good things about this place but it was awful I feed it to my cats. And had to wait almost an hour. We want go back or suggest it to anyone else

so I went today and ordered a taco salad. it costed me 10.00 I wasn't impressed with hardly any taco meat or letticue and served it in a big bowl I wouldn't recommend gails diner I will never be back a very small portion it was good food

My parents are new to the Woodville area and we have heard nothing but good things about this diner. My cousins and I went there to get food this afternoon and it was amazing! The staff was amazing as well! 1000/10 would recommend.

We ate here this evening; we both ordered the catfish and it was delicious. It was a large filet, breaded and seasoned and cooked just right. Sides were simple but ample. We also had a very good and sweet waitress, who took good care of us.

I visited here for lunch a few weeks ago after a day at Cathedral Caverns. I had a nice time overall!This is very much a small town diner. It's nondescript and almost looks like a house. There's a few designated parking spots out front and a gravel lot with more space to the side, but it's a little bumpy so drive cautiously! There's also a window where you can walk up and order carryout from outside.Inside felt homey and clean if a little on the aged (think like grandma's house) side. You pay at the counter but a waitress comes out to take your order. They have plate lunches and American classics like hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken tenders. It also seems like they do a big breakfast business. It was a touch too warm inside for my preference but YMMV.I ordered a chicken tender plate lunch with French fries and fried okra. It also came with a small, soft roll. It took a while for my food to come out but they were fairly busy and it was clear my food was made fresh!The tenders were giant and juicy, and the okra still had a nice crispy exterior. The tenders almost had a lemony flavor; I wonder if they were brined or marinated or something. The fries were standard and nothing special, but perfectly fine. I got a cup of ranch for dipping and it was also solid ranch. I don't remember my exact total but it was certainly reasonable for lunch.I'd be happy to come back again sometime, and would love to try breakfast.
