This is the best small diner on the planet! With incredibly cheap prices, wonderful food, and amazing atmosphere, and stellar service. My friends and I all came in after a weekend of camping as is our tradition, we specifically camp where we do so that we are able to hit this diner along the way.

Stopped here on the way home from Branson. Food was great and was served very quickly even though it was a busy Sunday mid morning around 11:30 AM. Server was busy and really didn’t check our group for drink refills, but this wouldn’t stop me from eating here again.

The sine qua non of any diner has to be their cheeseburger, and Top Rock serves an excellent one! For those of us who remember burgers pre-Big Macs, we recall patties larger than silver dollars and cheese that melted around the edges. When my double hit the table, it was enormous, and I thought I wouldn’t be able to finish it. But it was so good, I couldn’t stop. The fries were perfect, somewhere between Freddie’s and Culver’s, so they had both heft and crispiness. Then I had a slice of sugar-free coconut cream pie. The whole meal including beverage came to $16. We pass through Alpena often—beware the speed trap—on the way to Huntsville and Fayetteville, so we will be stopping often. Oh, and the service was great, too!

The food was absolutely amazing, however, I don't appreciate them using their bare hands, no proper uniforms, they had shorts on and shoes that don't look like they would be tread safe
