Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

This was the best experience at Cracker Barrel I have ever had hot springs is awful this store here in CaddoValley is absolutely awesome the best food absolutely a clean store and Hayden was the best waitress we have had in yrs anywhere

It is a hit and miss on how good it tastes. Iv stopped a few times and the food was great other times it was like the previous days left overs that didn’t get sold but still fine (why I kept going back) it was clean and quite. And good stuff in the store. Staff was always nice when I went in.

Today 01/18/26 we stopped at Cracker Barrel in Arkadelphia, Arkansas coming from Texas. Placing my order for a vegetable plate, I was told no lettuce for a salad, I wanted dumpling soup, did not have. When the food arrived I was told another 10 minutes before Mac-n-Cheese would be ready after all the other food arrived. Being nice to a new server, we asked for alittle more gravy for a smothered hamburger steak dinner my husband ordered, since there was only about a tablespoon on top. Still smiling to the server we left after eating to shop clearance in store. Found little stuffie for grand daughter. Upon leaving and heading back on the road, I discovered we were charged twice for stuffie and charged for the brown gravy, although menu called it smothered hamburger steak dinner and there was only about a tablespoon of gravy.
By far one of the worst experiences I have had from a Cracker Barrel…
We will not go back or recommend this Resturant at this location 😔

My husband and I have food allergies. Alice, the manager was very knowledgeable and super accommodating. She treated us well, not like we were difficult bc if our specials needs. We didn’t even need to get out glasses on to read the menu! Our server Maddie was friendly, helpful and had a big smile. She also went the extra mile for us! The food was good too! Thank you all! I keep a travel journal so if we get back through this way, we will be back!

This day the restaurant was pretty dirty. The waitresses were cleaning off all of the dishes and tables. When we walked in most of the tables had not been cleaned off yet. At least half of the tables were dirty. I think it is pretty gross for a waitress to clean dirty tables and dishes, and then bring my food to me.

I normally enjoy eating at C/B, my wife not so much. When I’m the road for work solo I usually try and hit a C/B at least once but this time we stopped at this C/B much to our displeasure. Since it was at night and had to drive a few more hours I ordered Coffee and as another reviewer noted there was no Coffee made…Really? I ordered the Chicken & Dumplings only to be disappointed. Also wife is Gluten Intolerant so her menu options are limited. She asked the server about the size of their Baked Potatoes and she was clueless. Finally the server brought out a “Gluten Free” menu which was several pages of information intended for cooks and servers that you had to decipher. She finally just ordered Grilled Chicken Tenders however the sides came out cold, which were replaced. We were also disappointed that we could not order any items from the Early Bird section although it was a few minutes afterwards. We would have paid the additional cost. Also, REALLY disappointed in the “new” Menu! Ugh! Like others said, not sure if I’ll be back, especially this store!

We eat regularly at Cracker Barrel and while likely continue. However, this particular visit was not my favorite. We stopped while traveling on Christmas Eve to eat the two home style meal special. It seems there was a limited menu and we could not order what we wanted after stopping. There was nothing mentioned on the app or posted at the door stating this. The staff was not helpful or apologetic for the lack of disclosure. Not a good stop this time.
