Heading home to Chicago, my son and I saw the billboard and stopped in for lunch. Food was pretty decent and service was friendly and charming. Good alternative to all them crappy fast food joints.

Stopped in at 2pm during the week. Food was not served hot. Green beans were cold, loaded potato was room temperature and steak was a little warm. Felt Rushed by the waitress, maybe it was close to shift change idk. Seems like a nice place with friendly staff but they really need to up the attention to food Prep.

Our meals were good portions. The salad is a big size with plenty of chicken. I do recommend getting there before 5:30 - 6pm for dinner. They got busy really quick. Do expect a wait if you do not get there before then.

I stopped in while visiting from out of town, and I’m so glad I did. The food was absolutely amazing — fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The service was just as impressive. You can tell right away that the owner is hands-on and truly cares about the restaurant and every customer who walks through the door.
It’s rare to find a place with this level of quality and attention, and Hamburger Barn delivers on all of it. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town. Highly recommend!
