My family and I went in for the first time a couple months ago. Wow! The food is absolutely amazing, the environment is warm, clean, and inviting. I am so impressed with this place! And of course the owner is so personable. Fantastic place to eat with fantastic service!

We waited on a Saturday mid morning for 35+ minutes for a menu and finally got up and got them ourselves, 5 in our party. The food took another 40+ minutes, may have been more. My hash browns were not cooked, not browned and the Arkadelphia omelette was fine, but prefer the veggies sauteed a minute or two first and the one slice of toast wasn't toasted/brown either. But prices were good and we love love the old charming home environment. The staff was very very sweet but seemed new or a little overwhelmed that day. I will say that people who came in after we did were already eating before we got a menu :/

I ran an errand to Arkadelphia and searched google for good mom n pop restaurant .Matty's was rated 5 stars, and it earned them! The restaurant is a converted Craftsman home, and the hardwood floors and woodwork give great ambiance. I had the pork ribeye steak special, with mashed sweet potatoes and green beans, and it was amazing! If you need a good excuse to go to Arkadelphia, Matty's is it! I look forward to my next trip to Matty's!

Wonderful dining experience in a beautiful old house. The wait staff were very friendly, polite and efficient. The food was excellent. The strawberry pecan salad with chicken was beautiful and delicious. We will definitely return on our next stop through Arkadelphia.
Parking: Parking on the side and back. Do not park across the street in the Law Office lot.

What a gem we discovered for dinner. Located Inside a 1905 renovated home, the atmosphere was enchanting with linen napkins and tablecloths and food that was divine! Customer service was outstanding. We will be going back for breakfast!
Passing through we stopped in for a late lunch. Housed in a beautiful old (early 1900’s) house, lovely setting. The veggie omelette with their homemade salsa was outstanding and you can’t beat their grits. Also had the Strawberry, Pecan and Spinach salad with their homemade Strawberry dressing. Fresh and delicious. Besides the great food, the staff were very friendly and made really good suggestions. They stopped and chatted (we were their last customers for the day) and we really enjoyed our visit there. Definitely worth getting off I-30.

I dont even know where I am, but what a quiet little town with a great spot to eat in old house! Food was absolutely delicious and served in very large portions. Service was fantastic and the price was right! Put this in your map app and follow the directions to get here ASAP!
