Matty’s is fantastic! The cheese grits are amazing! Our breakfast was the best we’ve had in a long time. Our waitress, Sara, was very attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend eating at Matty’s.

We were traveling and wanted a nice meal rather than gas station food. Matty's was a great choice. The food was good, especially the biscuits and chocolate gravy! The servers were pleasant and one was the owner. She apologized for the wait but it honestly wasn't a long wait at all. I definitely encourage you to stop and enjoy the quaint ambiance and great food!

We at breakfast there one day and took home the meatloaf special for lunch. Both were delicious! We reserved the restaurant as the venue to hold a surprise 50th anniversary party last week! Darren was extremely easy to work with and very accommodating! The menu choices were great and the end result was amazing! Everyone raved about how delicious the food was! Thank you so much! We stopped at Matty’s for breakfast for our family of 8 as we were passing through town. The food and service were fantastic. The building is gorgeous. This is a unique and beautiful place to enjoy a good meal. Every table has a view outside. The original hardwoods are stunning and so much of the original craftsman touches are preserved. Highly recommend stopping here.

Matty's food is good, can't complain there but they realy need to get some fries for their Burger meals instead of potato chips. As a non-local and out of state person, I think they should invest in a bigger restaurant/parking sign. had to go by a couple times before figure driving thru what I thought was a drive thru driveway to figure there was some parking spaces back there. Nice wooden floors and custom paper table covers with Bible messages on the tables.

Stumbled onto this gem. Breakfast was perfect home style eats 😋 We each enjoyed the Blakelytown meal. 2 eggs, your choice of meat and either biscuits and gravy or pancakes 🥞 😋 Coffee nice and hot and strong for our trek back to Texas. Thank you, Summer! Enjoy that new bundle of joy 😊
