Food is decent but expensive for a plate. Sometimes, you find they have added sugar to things that should be savory. It's hit or miss here. Meatloaf Thursday is good but expect some indigestion.
Matty’s is fantastic! The cheese grits are amazing! Our breakfast was the best we’ve had in a long time. Our waitress, Sara, was very attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend eating at Matty’s.
We were traveling and wanted a nice meal rather than gas station food. Matty's was a great choice. The food was good, especially the biscuits and chocolate gravy! The servers were pleasant and one was the owner. She apologized for the wait but it honestly wasn't a long wait at all. I definitely encourage you to stop and enjoy the quaint ambiance and great food!
