I have been here before and the food was good, the staff were great, and the atmosphere is nice, so I decided to take my family there on our way home from Hot Springs for our anniversary. It ended up being a pretty big let down though. While the waitress was very sweet, it was apparent that she is young and hasn't had many years in the service industry. This is to be expected in a college town, so we weren't really stressing it. For example, when we asked for extra napkins...

The food was amazing! We had scallops, friend shrimp, burgers and drinks & more. Everything was flavored perfectly. The atmosphere was great as well- Good music, friendly people, unique design inside, and just overall a great experience. Highly recommend and we will be back!

As a Louisiana native & picky eater, this was hands down the best food we had while visiting Arkansas! The scallops were AMAZING & the presentation was perfect. I’d recommend Slim & Shorty’s to anyone - locals and tourists for good food and the best environment. Thank you for the great hospitality and food!
