We stopped by Maharani’s in Ash Flat to grab some takeout and decided to try the gyro sandwich. It was absolutely delicious—fresh, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor! The server was very friendly and made our quick stop a pleasant experience. The place is simple, nice, and cozy – nothing fancy, but it has a warm and welcoming vibe that makes it feel like a hidden gem in a small town. We’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu!

The food and service here were incredible! We had the butter chicken, garlic naan and hummus with pita. The pita was fresh fried and crispy. The hummus was creamy and lemony. The butter chicken was tender and served with fluffy saffron rice. I also ordered Chai and it was served on a beautiful golden service and was the best chai I have ever had. My son (6) mentioned that he wished his dinner was on a gold tray and the sweet server did that for him. The server was attentive, kind and fantastic.

The food was decent. We just ordered burgers. Service was friendly, but slow. Took 40 minutes to get burger and fry orders. Size was plenty and flavor was fine. Just slow service. Noticed other tables waiting a while also. The sweet little girls helping was adorable.

We visited this restaurant all the way from Omaha, NE! As lovers of Indian food, it's always a gamble trying it in a small town, but Maharani did not disappoint! Even if you don't like Indian food, they still have plenty of American food options, like steak, burgers, and chicken fried steak to choose from. But as far as the food goes, it was great! Our food was spiced very nicely, it seemed like it was very authentic and they gave good portions. At first I thought I would need more, but it ended up being more than I could eat! So we had to take leftovers. We also ordered chai, which was served on a beautiful, traditional and ornate tea set fit for royalty. The one girl serving us was the most down to earth, friendly and hardworking lady. She was able to handle the entire place and made sure all of the guests were well taken care of. The classical images on the walls were beautiful and pleasant, not gaudy as some Indian restaurants sometimes have. Lastly, I had to make room for cheesecake, because...cheesecake :D and there were about a dozen choices for dessert. I went with the turtle cheesecake and it was delicious. If you're ever in this area, please give Maharani a try! We will definitely be going back when we are in the area again! My only wish is that they would get some paneer for the saag!

Amazing food in the middle of Ash Flat, AR! I promise you won't be disappointed. I've had the Philly cheese steak sandwich and the 10oz sirloin. Both were fantastic. The steak was comparable, dare I say better, to going to Texas Roadhouse for a steak. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Indian dish. We'll definitely be back.
