Came to cheaters for the 1st time today in Groton.
Trinity was great, little light on the rib meat but was very tender and had a great smoke flavor. Teh brisket was good and tender but needed some sauce. The how sausage was very good and spicy. The burnt ends were ok, kind of lacked flavor you would expect from burnt ends. The boneless ribs were good but dry, needed extra sauce do them. Wife had the 1/2 chicken. She said it was really good and had good Smokey flavor and taste. The Mac & cheese was just basic. The tangy sauce was good, the wife likes the sweet more though. Sweet potato was awesome. Will give it a 8. I will be back again.

First of all this place is incredibly overpriced, $30 for one dinner and a drink. I got the brisket and burnt ends combo, both of which we dry with a very low fat content thus little flavor. Attached is a picture of what Chester’s calls burnt ends. As you can see from the photo it is definitely not what most would expect.
