The best restaurant in the state of Arkansas. A true experience in its own category. Always so accommodating and the best porterhouse in the country. Also, the best fried shrimp too. Make sure to call and get a reservation.
We've always wanted to try The Tamale Factory in Augusta, AR. We were heading out to survey a private land owner's swamplands for rare plants, and amongst the expansive fields you drive through on the way to get there, all of a sudden you see a large barn with a parking lot, completely full of vehicles, in the middle of "nowhere".
