Terrible place to eat. $26 for chicken tenders and a cheeseburger with barely any fries. The chicken was bland, cold, and hard to chew. Quote from one of the employees making the chicken (It doesn’t have to be perfect just slap it in the fryer) The burger was supposed to be 1/4 lb but it’s smaller then most McDonald’s burgers. On top of all of that it took 30 minutes to get our slapped together food and they only had rancid soda to drink.

I’ve been here twice and had the hamburger meal. The meat is delicious and the toppings are very fresh. That’s the one thing that I enjoy is fresh lettuce and tomato on a burger, it was just like making my own at home ! The people are very friendly.
You’ve got to try the chocolate ice cream cones. Super basic but sooooo good! You definitely get your moneys worth!

A small, independtly owned dairy bar, it reminds you of a time before the chain restaurants dwarfed small town hang outs. Great food, pleasant staff,& an owner dedicated to the nostalgic idea of giving the next generation the kind of place us older people remember going to, when we were young... Austin is blessed to have this dairy bar, & I encourage everyone to give it a try!!!! You'll be glad that you did!!
It took 25 minutes to get a chili dog. I clocked it. There were three other tables at noon on a Saturday. Not long after I sat down, two men from a table came up to the cashier and said can we just pay for our drinks and go? I could tell the other people didn't have food yet and seemed Aggravated. Wasn't long a waitress came to one table that had three and told them their burgers had got burnt and they will make new ones soon. About ten minutes later the burgers came out. But they had forgot the fries. It had been about a year since I'd last tried eating there. I won't again. Food is pretty good but, how long do you want to wait. The cook, a teenage boy, needs to concentrate on his job rather than the waitresses.

Great food! First time trying Rooster Dairy Bar tonight. We had the fried pickles,two cheeseburgers,onion rings and fried okra. Desert was a cow pie and a fudge sundae. Service was friendly and I enjoyed the atmosphere. We will be back :)

We went in today to get two milkshakes. We got an Oreo and a Butterfinger shake, and it was horrible!! It literally tasted like sour milk. There was no ice cream it was just milk with a little topping and the toppings sunk to the bottom because it wasn’t thick. I miss tastee freeze
