Littlefield Express sits comfortably in the category of: “Not bad, but I’m not writing home about it.” If you just need a quiet, dark place to shut down for a 10-hour break, this spot absolutely gets the job done. It was peaceful enough that I didn’t feel like I was parked on the runway at Hartsfield-Jackson — a rare luxury these days.
Now… if you’re staring down a 34-hour reset, I’d personally drift across the street to the Pilot or cruise down the interstate to Love’s. More amenities, more to do, and probably a bathroom that doesn’t feature recurring guest appearances by the same wad of toilet paper I saw on the floor both days.
I didn’t try the fried chicken or the showers, so I can’t judge that part of the experience. I did, however, take a chance on the tuna-salad sandwich (yes, yes, gas-station tuna — I know). Let’s just say if regret had a flavor profile, that was it.
Overall: ✅ Quiet & dark — excellent for sleeping ✅ Fine for a quick overnight ❌ Tuna sandwich tasted like a dare ❌ Bathroom “cleaning” seems more theoretical than actual
Bottom line: Solid spot for a 10-hour nap. For a full-reset weekend getaway? I’ll be at the Pilot or the Love's.

All I got to say is thank God there were some parking. I've only come down I-57 the second time. I was able to find this parking area and I'm so grateful you have no idea being a long haul trucker finding good parking for free is totally awesome. But I don't take it it's free I go in and purchase something. That way I feel like you know I contributed something instead of being forced to pay like an absorbent amount of money that I already don't have. Just try to pay it forward. Of the 10 times I've stopped here to try to use the bathroom and purchase something the restroom has only been open 1 time. This is a truck stop, why would you close the women's restroom so much? It's always between the hours of midnight and 5am. Tonight I ended up leaving without purchasing what i went in for bc there was no employee in sight to pay for anything. Good thing I'm an honest person and have a conscious bc your joint was prime for the picking tonight.

Delicious chicken and phenomenal service! The chicken from Chester’s was absolutely delicious, and the service was phenomenal. Quick on and off access from the highway made it super convenient—perfect stop for a tasty bite!

After another bad experience with their token black clerk, I’ve decided that I will only park overnight and use the restroom if necessary. I’m all done spending my money here.
