Tried Swiss steak (Lunch special) for the first time. I enjoyed it good quality meal at a good price. Old diner/cafe atmosphere that I really like. It is geared towards a older clientele. Comments from the peanut gallery are unsolicited lol

I passed through on a road trip a while back and it's not fine dining, but basically the entire menu is comfort food. If desperately want to use a time machine to visit a 1950s southern restaurant, this place is pretty close to that; it doesn't appear to have been remodeled since the Eisenhower administration. Try the country ham and eggs with biscuit and gravy, you won't be disappointed. It would probably make a pretty good filming location if you're into...
