While traveling from out of state we stopped in for a quick lunch. As wonderful as the food was (which was amazing, try the chili cheesburger) our waiter (John) was even better. It is a warm and wholesome atmosphere that feels very welcoming.

I got the famous Shorty Smalls chicken fried steak and it was exactly like the original Shorty Smalls in Little Rock! It was amazing. My wife got the pulled pork and it was also excellent. The cheese dip appetizer was also very, very good. Service was spot on. I highly recommend trying them out, you won’t be disappointed!

The food here was pretty good. Mozzarella sticks are gigantic. Our server John was great and even got a thumbs up from my 4 year old. (This is rare) The bathroom is in a super weird space, but it was clean. My order was a bit wrong, but nothing major. 9/10 would recommend.

With wonderful staff and a very cozy environment, I absolutely recommend this restaurant. We've been a few times and have never had any issues until today, but the manager quickly corrected it and it made the meal all the much better. Well worth the money spent, even with it being nearly $100 for a party of three, but that included the appetizer and the drinks!

I remember when shorty smalls had locations in NLR and in LR. This feels reopened correctly. The nostalgia is there. Location and atmosphere help to rekindle and capture thatfeeling. Food was great, the wife and I loved it. We will be returning here before we make any more trips to Jacksonville chili's.

Went there kast night for the first time and it was amazing. I got the catfish combo plate with chicken strips, baked beans, gravy and French fries. Was $19.59 for the combo without a drink and the service was great as well
