I had the Ranchero Jalisco and it was very good, with the cheese sauce not being too overpowering which happens sometimes with dishes like this.
The service could've been better though.

The salsa was too mild. It was very bland tasting like mild rotel. The bleu margarita on the rocks was too sweet. I ordered a medium rare carne asada. The steak was tough with no seasoning. I only ate half of it because I was tired of chewing the steak. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice.

On 11/16/25 . Myself, my girlfriend and her room mate went to Chepe's for their brunch. We were seated on the deck immediately and was brought our complimentary chips and salsa within a couple of minutes. We sat there waiting for someone to come by and take our drink order and appetizer order no one showed up. We addressed one of the hosts that was setting up tables for a large group and asked if he could get someone to take our order. 10 minutes went by then we addressed the young lady that had taken us to our table asked her about getting someone to serve us. Another 10 minutes then I actually called into the restaurant from the deck and asked the guy that answered if he could send someone out. All three people said yes would send some one out. When the large group was seated next to us and the server immediately went to there table bypassing ours that was the icing on the cake. We got up and left. I went back in and spoke with the manager on duty and she was polite said she was sorry but you could tell she really didn't care they lost fairly faithful customers because of the way the situation was handled.

The margaritas are a little watery and definitely sweet ~ mine was on the rocks, so definitely more mixer than necessary. You can’t taste the tequila. Very disappointing.
The chicken chimichangas with fajita chicken was delicious! The food gets 4 stars, drinks are meh.🫤
Atmosphere ~ the place is clean and plenty of seating, very loud though; no noise absorbing.

Ordered the shredded chicken chimichanga and was very satisfied with the flavor, quality and presentation of the meal. The house margarita on the other hand was a total disappointment - watery, too sweet and an almost complete absence of tequila - don’t waste your money on that one! The staff was friendly and attentive, sadly the poor quality margarita cast a shadow over the experience

When you work in the hospitality business, there is a certain understanding. If the establishment says the “close” at 10pm, and a customer walks in at 9:45pm, you seat them with a smile and give them the full experience.

My party arrived at 8:30. We ordered drinks and appetizers. We laughed we joked we enjoyed. At 9:43pm the manager came to our table. She informed us of the 10:00pm closing time and asked if we needed anything else. She was rude, but tried to act like we could stay as long as we wanted, acted like she was checking on us. But she was sending us a clear message that we had to leave.

Shortly after she had them flip on the bright lights. Like it’s 15 minutes before you close, and you are turning on the bright lights to chase us out?

If you want good service I would go somewhere else. This behavior would be acceptable at 10 or even later than 10. Not before you close the doors.

I suspect she must own the place, because that is the only way she could be so rude. If she is just a manager, I would fire her immediately after reading this. It’s simply unacceptable.
