Came in and got catfish and wow their catfish is good!!! And they cooked it all up fresh so it was too hot to eat even when I got home with it. When I want some catfish, which is very rare for me to eat fried food, I will be back!

The food was great!! But ole girl at the speaker rushed my order and interrupted me as I was telling her what she was about to ask. At the end no thank you or pull forward just my total. Then I got to the window don’t get me wrong she had a big smile, but she stared me down the whole time as if I had something on my face. Like I said the food is great, but y’all need to fix your employees attitudes whether they are “young” or not.

My wife and I first experienced C/E in Texas and wondered if there was a franchise closer to our home in L.R., AR and found this location; we have frequented this location on 3 separate occasions and have not been disappointed on any occasion!!!! We don't mind making the drive from L.R.~Benton; its just that good!!!! I pulled up at one of the well-known chicken franchises and my spouse went from 0 to 60 in a heartbeat!!!😁 She's a C/E fanatic!!!
We came in a little after 7 and the new guy at the register was so sweet and kept is updated on our order. The young lady who came to help him did so with a smile on her face.
Everything was made fresh! ? potatoes could have been more creamy vs clumpy and swallowed up the gravy.
My only thing bothered me was, one employee kept watching us as we ate and when we were finally done..I heard someone say, "yall don't have to leave, but yall got to get the blank out of her". I thought maybe it close to closing, but there were non customers in there talking about football and a kid on crutches. I looked at the time and it was maybe 8:30. We waited about 30 minutes for our food, which was fine because we knew it would be fresh.
But to be rushed out as if we were a nuisance bothered me.

I ordered the Mgr $6 box with a roll. My order took a while to be prepared found out after asking that I was waiting on rolls. Guess the young man didn't like that I asked about my order my roll looked like it had been stepped. the chicken was small. I did take a picture but review doesn't give the option to attach it. Very disappointed in this visit usually great food and service.
