Sunday morning breakfast. Service was quick and polite. Food was hot and delicious. Fried potatoes from Dan's are wonderful. Prices are fair and reasonable. Place could use some sprucing up. Outside awnings are torn and windows were not very clean. New carpeting and lighting would make a great improvement.
Parking: Back side of the lot is gravel with many ruts, maybe due to semis parked for hotel next door

I am a Hispanic teacher from Texas. My husband and I take a two week road trip every summer. A lot of times we like to stop and eat at local restaurants to give back to the communities instead of chain merchants. Today, we stopped to eat breakfast at Dan's I-30 Diner in Benton, Arkansas. We ordered well before two other customers. Yet, they were served way before us. After waiting 20 to 25 minutes for our food, we got up and offered to pay for our drinks and left. I am not saying they were prejudice nor am I saying that they weren't. But that's how they came across and made us feel. I would not recommend this place at all.

The bacon was overcooked and was deep fried not good. The waitresses were friendly and doing there job. But the people cooking the food was not very fast. People were walking out cause the food was taking to long to be prepared. My husband and I sit there for over a hour just for breakfast. Might or might not be back.

Waited 49 minutes to order. Another hour and 20 minutes for our food and it wasn’t very much food. Won’t be coming back here again. 2 hour wait is unacceptable especially when you have a two year old with you.

I DO NOT recommend this restaurant and the reason why? My boyfriend and I came in on Saturday April 27 2024 and waited over an hour to get our food and the waitress never came over and told us anything as too why it was taking so long and they weren’t that busy . This was my first time and last time to ever come there . When my boyfriend asked her how much longer it would be she was snappy and said yeah , very unprofessional on her part if she hates her job she needs to find something else rather than take it out on her customers . Then when she came back told us it would be another 20 min that’s ridiculous to have to wait an hour and 20 min to eat .

Decide to switch up my Saturday breakfast and it was worth. Nothing but good homestyle breakfast cooking. Skillet potatoes had great flavor without being overly greasy. Pancakes that made me feel like I was a kid eating pancakes for the first time again. Biscuits and gravy that I can't compete with.
